Probably 'cause Veronica is rich, and rich people have aquariums everywhere.
At least I'm assuming this is Veronica's shower. If it's Betty's then indeed this makes no sense.

Yellow. Because working with it when coloring comics is such a pain in the ass.
Who would have a sadder back-story a Corgi in a Sombrero or a Tuxedo Cat?
The corgi's is slightly sadder because he requires human assistance to acquire the sombrero, whereas Tuxedo Cats are born with that pattern and keeping their dapper look requires no effort at all.

why dont they just make a sim-game where you are the dog and control every aspect of the town on some unsuspecting sap who wanders into it? Fog control, monster button, pull the pyramid head lever. there's a fear gauge and you can also put stupid puzzles in their way to slow 'em down. why— WHERES THIS GAME.
