sayin’ goodbye to tumblr...

Or at least I’m taking a break for the foreseeable future. Nothing I do here ever gets notes anymore, and it’s apparent that maybe around 5% of my followers still even access the site.

It’s understandable, as pretty much every change Tumblr made since the Yahoo acquisition has been less than ideal. Among other things. Very few people here seem interested in what I do in general; I feel like I’m just shouting in the wind at this point.

Maybe things will get better in the future. ‘Till then…

ROMANCE DETECTIVE 2 is an unfinished visual novel that’s been in development for about 22 months. the story is complete aside from a few short scenes that were left unwritten, and you’ll see a lot of sketches in place of final art. it’s at least presentable, and a satisfying experience despite lacking polish.

the reason it’s being released in this state is explained in the game itself. i just want to be as clear as possible up front that this project is not finished and i have no plans to continue development on it.

so if you enjoyed the first romance detective game, and still want to play its sequel even if it’s unfinished, i hope you’ll enjoy this
