Why don't you show your face? I mean, it's kinda interesting. Every other YouTuber I know has shown their face at least once, and yet you are a complete entity among them. I guess, like... I wouldn't really mind if you showed your face or not, because your

I guess a unique thing about the Internet I like is the ability to be formless. There is no “me”, there’s only a voice that laughs at video games. Well, also a couple of hands that show up every now and then. I like having that ability, and once you show yourself on camera, you can’t get it back. There’s never been a reason for me to appear, so I haven’t.

Not to mention, it’s something that I would need to save for my final video, where I point a webcam at myself, and you gasp as you see your own face on the screen! You look around yourself, and realize that you’re surrounded by a microphone, video game systems, and a video capture PC. How did you never notice it before. YOU WERE ME THE WHOLE TIME.

Black Female Superintendent Makes Bold Move: Minneapolis Schools Now Need Permission to Suspend Black Students - Atlanta Blackstar:

jean-luc-gohard:

multigalacticblackgirl:

In an effort to understand why students of color in the Minneapolis school system are 10 times more likely to receive a suspension than white students, school superintendent Bernadeia Johnson enacted a new policy where every non-violent suspension of a Black, Hispanic, or American Indian student will now be reviewed by her office before they …

YES!!! This needs to happen in every school system right now.

This is an exploratory move more than anything else, but oh boy are white boys on the internet going to lose every shit they have over it.

a good cartoon.

And, um, actually, our welcome mat, it’s at the base of the statue of liberty.

you mean it doesn’t say “look on my works, ye huddled masses, and despair!” ?

Hey Ramirez, if you’ve actually read the news lately, you’d know a lot of people are crossing the border to escape a country literally run by insane people trying to murder them. Of course, even if you WERE aware of that, I’m sure you’d still want to kick them right back in!

Rameriez is a fascinating and infuriating hatemonger.

How do you think webcomics have changed since the ye olde Keenspot days?

Well, standards have certainly gone up. The average quality of Keenspot compared to Hiveworks is almost incomparable, and moreover today’s webcomics all excel at portraying modern issues in a palatable way (see Dumbing of Age and Go Get a Roomie)

It’s like, Wendy was actually kind of sort of popular back in the day. Could you imagine that now? I sure can’t!

what's the hardest part of writing for you?

The middle part.

The beginning and the ending is so easy to come up with… but everything in between? Waugh.
