Martin Treanor's Blog, page 3

January 18, 2011

My new blogspot.

As ever in the pursuance of all things self-promoting, I have put together a blog - titled: TWISTED THOUGHTS and WINSOME WORDS - wherein I attempt to offload my musings on books, authors, and writing in general - along with a few blatant, hussy-like plugs for my soon to be released novel, 'THE SILVER MIST':

MARTIN's TWISTED THOUGHTS and WINSOME WORDS Blogspot

Please do drop by - have a read and follow.

Have a happy-go-lucky week.

Martin :)

A NEW NOVEL

This is not so much a blog post - as a blog post-ette - but I just had to share that, not only is it a tremendous buzz when a book idea flashes into your head with all the gusto of an exploding sun but, when the words string together, and the first chapter arrives on the computer screen just as planned, well then that is just the cat's pajamas.

THE JAMES MASON COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB

For quite a while now, I have been a member of THE JAMES MASON COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB and have had no end of fun chatting with the many enlightened souls about books - contemporary and classic - timeless films, classic books to timeless films, and just about any other subject that tweaks the fancy - not to mention the disturbingly addictive guess the book-cover game, and 'Books That Rocked Our Infant World', all put together and maintained under the skillful - seemingly boundless - guidance of RICK

So, if you want to take part in more than 90 discussions, along with many enjoyable activities and polls - join up.

Ah go on - sure ye'll love it.

Oh - and I'm there too :D

Martin :)

Hello. welcome, and thanks.

I know - that sounded like some cheesy game-show host catchphrase - but 'hello, welcome, and thanks' for coming by nonetheless.

In the millennia to come (ever the life optimist, with an unhealthy belief in the power of unrealistic expectations), I will be posting details about my forthcoming novel, along with some scribblings, and general this-and-that's about all sorts of stuff.

I hope you'll enjoy, and maybe even be somewhat entertained.

So - hello, welcome, and thanks again ...

Martin ;)
