I just realized there is an option for you all to ask me questions. I would love to hear questions from you all. Ask about me, or my characters (what's JJ's favorite color?), whatever comes to mind. Just...please...don't ask me about math. Seriously. You will not like my answer.

Howdy!
Hi all!
This is my first blog post on Goodreads. How cool is that?
A little about myself? Alrighty then.
I was born and raised in Las Vegas (the famous one, not the tiny one in New Mexico...although I have been there and it is quite quaint).
Besides being an author, I am also a high school teacher and have been for 22 years.
I love chocolate. Seriously. LOVE it. (that, by the way, is a HUGE hint to my future students)
And...I love to read. My favorite is children's fiction, although I do dabble in YA and the occasional sci-fi. Mystery is pretty cool once in a while (I especially dig Agatha Christie...super Old School). I have read ONE romance. ONE. Enough said.
