Earth Blend Sequel to Human Blend

Just letting everyone know that I am hard at work on the sequel to Human blend. The title is going to be called Earth Blend.

The first six chapters will actually be a prequel to Human Blend giving you much asked for details on the new fantasy creatures I have created. You will also get some more background into the Blends. Chapter seven will pick up where Human Blend left off with all your favorites.

I originally intended a April release but am now looking at closer to June. I am taking off the summer to be sure I can accomplish this. Work and health issues have set me back a bit.But, rest assured, Earth Blend will be worth the wait!

Book Signing

My first official book signing is scheduled for Tuesday December 14th 2010 at the Doylestown Bookshop 16 South Main Street in Doylestown PA 18901 from 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome in person or in spirit!Human Blend

Time for my close-up

As some of you know I was one of the finalist in the great American Author contest on the Off the Bookshelf website. I am please to say I finished in the top three and my book will be part of a commercial the website is creating to help in marketing. They need a high res shot of my book cover, no problem & a high res shot of ME!! Yikes. Don't like any I have so going to take some shots tomorrow in the park near my house, going for a Earthy look. Whatcha think?

Working on book 2 in the series

As I await the final edit on Human Blend- print version, I started to type up the second book in the trilogy. I have almost two chapters hand written and am now transferring them to my computer.

A different book I am working on has been put on the back burner as request for the Human Blend book 2 have been pouring in. Gotta keep the fans happy.

double proofing

I was very excited to receive a copy of my book Human Blend in print. It made it so much easier to see mistakes that need to be fixed. Mostly grammatical in nature. Thankfully my boss is a wonderful editor wannabe and has offered to go over my proof. When this book is finally in print it will be error free. I know my boss does not miss a trick. She knows my common mistakes from editing my teacher newsletters. I hope to have it edited and ready for purchase by the beginning of September. I'll keep you all posted.

Just got done proof reading the book in print. It is an amazing feeling holding it in my hands. Making corrections now before re-uploading it to the printer.
