Back from Derry late last night. Thanks to the Verbal Arts Centre and everyone involved with the 2D Festival for having me, and to everyone I saw at the show for the good times. And I sketched. Oh, how I sketched! (Mainly for kids, which is always fun.)
I lost my nice camera on the first day, so the sketches here are mainly taken with my dinky little phone camera - consequently the quality isn't that great. But it should give you a taste. I did a ton of these, so I'll spread them out over a few days.
Second warmup sketch. I'm writing this on Thursday but scheduling the post for Friday, so I should be in Derry by the time this goes live. Come see me at the 2D Comics Fair tomorrow and Sunday!
I fully expect to be sketching like a fiend this weekend at the 2D Festival, so I'm getting a bit of practice in before I go. Here's my first warmup sketch.
Spent today preparing for the 2-D Festival, hence this very old sketch as I haven't had time to do a new one. But hey! I believe the Adventure Time Annual is out today! I drewed a story in it.
... I'll be on my way back from Derry's2-D Festival, where I'm a guest this year. I'll have a couple of items for sale there that I've prepared especially for the festival: one, the Fez minicomic, which I've mentionedherepreviously, and two, this here fancy print, as seen below.
I freely admit I'm going straight for the most commercial idea I can think of, because this year has been, shall we say, challenging, and I frankly want to shift as many of these babies as I can. What's five pounds in Euros?
