Heroes Con 2014 Sketch: Bunsen and Beaker

Love drawing these guys, but I sometimes struggle to find ways of drawing them I haven't trotted out before. I think this one is reasonably original, though.

Glasgow Comic Con 2014 Sketch: Braveheart

Well, it was the Glasgow Comic Con, after all.

Heroes Con 2014 Sketch: Doop

Note to people who want me to draw any character created after 1970: please bring reference with you!

Heroes Con 2014 Sketch: Fred the Clown Holdup

I drew this one for the fine cartoonist Andy Hirsch, whose self-published comic Varmints I urge you all to check out. (His work on Boom! Studios' Garfield ain't too shabby either!)

Glasgow Comic Con 2014 Sketch: Thor

This one wasn't for anyone in particular, just a warm-up. I thought I'd have it in reserve if anybody asked for a Thor sketch.

Heroes Con 2014 Sketch: Hero Bear

The comic, beautifully drawn though it undoubtedly is, is not one I've got around to reading yet; however, that didn't stop me from having a crack at it.

Glasgow Comic Con 2014 Sketch: Dorothy and the Scarecrow

Thought I'd mix up the Heroes Con sketches with some from my recent trip to Glasgow. I'll alternate them in random fashion until they're all used up; I expect I'll throw in a few from my upcoming trip to Luxembourg before we're done, as well.

I chose this sketch for a reason: I'd like to draw your attention to a Kickstarter campaign for Fairy Tales I Just Made Up, a book written by Ray Friesen and drawn by a slew of cartoon talent, including Yours Truly. If that's something that interests you at all, I urge you to give it your support.

Glasgow Comic Con 2014 Sketch: Popeye vs Cancer

I did this one for the charity Comics vs Cancer. I expect this is an issue that touches most people one way or another at some point in their lives; let's all do what we can, where we can, shall we?
