Order My Steps

Sometimes there are so many competing thoughts in my head, distractions outside and within my control and I lose my concentration and I want to hide. Did you know that you can't hide from God? I thought I could hide in my house, in a glass of wine, in the television, in a social activity or a book. Maybe, He wouldn't find me if I tried to hide in my sleep, but He's there too. I'm up at all hours

Happy birthday to ME!

I'm 4 today!!Before you start pouring happy birthday well wishes all over me, my real birthday isn't until March 18th. Today is my spiritual birthday and at this time in my life the significance of what that means is reason to celebrate. Please spend a few minutes of your time and read to the end, there's something special I'd like from you.
I've always been a believer. I'd had that warm fuzzy

Do It for Peace’s Sake! by Dr. A'ndrea Wilson

I met Dr. A'ndrea Wilson on Facebook. Have you ever met someone, even on social media and feel an instant connection. For me, that's the way it was with A'ndrea. I checked her out and stumbled upon her blog and this particular post on peace, well it really spoke to me. There is a peace in doing, in knowing why you exist. It feels both serene and surreal, she explained it so well, here it is.

Values I'm Grateful for by Dr. Anita Heiss

Out perusing the blogosphere digging for inspiration and I came across the incomparable, Dr. Anita Heiss' blog on values. For sure these are values to reflect on and one of her values, empathy, is one I hold near to my own heart. If you don't know Author, Poet, Satirist & Social Commentator Anita Heiss, I highly suggest you get to know her.

Beating: It's in the Eye of the Receiver

A headline in the news caught my attention this morning… Texas judge needs help, says beaten daughter. Judge Who Beat Daughter Not Remorseful… Judge William Adams Who Beat Daughter Says He Did Nothing… a long list of catchy one-liners popped up in my Google search.

After only being able to bear watching parts of the "beating/spanking" video, I was curious as to what my Facebook friends thought
