Hunchback Virtual Tour 2nd stop--Winnipeg!

I read. I pontificated. I burbled. I extrapolated.

Of course, I discussed The Hunchback Assignments. And threw all the Victorian factoids I could at them. The class listened intently. See here's proof:

France and The Hunchback Assignments

Just got word that my French publisher, JC Lattès, will be releasing The Hunchback Assignments in February, 2010. The cover will be the same as the American cover, except, of course, titles and words will be in French. The series will be published under a different name in France: LES AGENTS DE MR. Since the answers belong to me, but the questions don't, I'm going to leave the Q's blank. You can guess what the quest...

Last Week: Chapters Runnymede and Ottawa Festival

Just a round up of last week's events. Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of taking my Hunchback Assignments traveling show to the Chapters on Runnymede in Toronto. A beautiful bookstore, built in an old theatre. I spoke to students from the Canadian Children's Book Club Program and was able to chat with them individually as I signed books.

Then I was off to Ottawa for the Ottawa International Writers Festival. Rainy and cold, that first day, but the people were friendly. I spoke at 4 schools...
