He has this marvellous knack of getting it just right - not too OTT, great character building and the suspense is always "suspendfull", you think you know who did it, in fact you know who did it and then a red herring is thrown out the blue and you never really know, until that final curtain closes, or in this case, you turn that final page. Jealousy, manic fans, the parents from hell and secrets, lots and lots of secrets, all play heavily in this book and I was enthralled throughout.
