A Winning Strategy Against the Enemy
“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
Scripture refers to the Enemy as a roaring lion on the prowl. And on the surface, it doesn’t look like we stand a chance. He’ll attack you through anxiety, frustration, anger, sadness, and confusion.
The good news is his attack isn’t a sneak attack. He is roaring. You can hear him coming for you.
The question is… how do you win against a roaring lion?
Here’s the key: You don’t run; you resist.
You stand your ground in Christ and ask for His help because only He can protect you from the Enemy’s attacks.
Alone, you’re an easy target. But when you stand in Christ’s authority, that’s when the Enemy has to run from YOU.
The Unexpected Answer
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23:6)
When things happen that we don’t understand, it’s natural to ask God for reasons why. But be prepared, God may not give you the answer you’re expecting.
Don’t Hit the Panic Button
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” (Romans 8:12)
