Automakers Freeze Imports As Thousands Of Cars Suddenly Stuck At US Ports

Although the President hit pause on his sweeping “reciprocal” tariff hikes for 90 days in dealings with many countries, the separate 25% tariff on automobiles and car parts remains firmly in place. For carmakers, that’s a red flag they can’t afford to ignore.
Many brands have adopted a ‘wait-and-see’ strategy, well aware that the President can change his tune quickly and unexpectedly. Now, thousands of newly-imported vehicles are being held at ports across the United States, while many brands have paused shipments to the US entirely, eager not to pay any unnecessary tariffs.
Cars Are Stuck, Ports Are Full
Speaking with The Financial Times, unnamed executives from the logistics and automotive sectors say imported cars are piling up at US ports, with some close to full capacity. Companies such as Aston Martin, Audi, and Jaguar Land Rover have temporarily suspended shipping to the US in the hope their current inventories will last until long-term resolutions are reached with the country’s trading partners.
Understandably, car manufacturers are trying every trick in the book to avoid paying the hefty new tariffs. In addition to holding vehicles at US ports before importers need to pony up for the tariffs and get the cars on the roads, some brands want to shift imported vehicles to US bonded warehouses. These facilities will allow car companies to store their new cars without being charged tariffs.
Confusion about the issue has also caused concern. While Trump recently imposed a blanket 25% tariff on all imported cars last week and promised to impose taxes on foreign-made car parts from May 3, many details remain fuzzy.
A German car executive told the FT that it wasn’t clear what constitutes a car part: “Is a part an engine, or is it each screw in the engine?”. Now, that’s a good question. Until there’s official guidance, domestic car owners could find themselves stuck without access to vital components—bad news for anyone needing repairs, and worse for service centers that might end up with cars they can’t fix.

They’re demanding absolute ideological purity from Bobby Kennedy while he’s under siege from every direction—media hit jobs, political sabotage, financial strangulation, and assassination attempts (oh yeah, actual ones). They want him to go nuclear in every speech, torch every bridge, and expose every inconvenient truth… even if it means getting obliterated before he ever has a chance to lead.
Let’s get something straight: Bobby is attempting to execute a long-term, strategic takedown of the most corrupt and captured elements of our federal government—especially the cartel known as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
And here’s the thing: Kennedy’s not playing checkers. He’s not playing tic-tac-toe. He’s playing 4D chess… on a board surrounded by snipers. If you can’t see that, then maybe you’re not paying attention. And now he’s being lambasted because of the viral post that triggered a minor meltdown (in the MAHA crowd) in which he stated that the measles vaccine (MMR) stops the spread of measles.
Spoiler alert: It does.Well-known influencers screamed, “Judas!” They shouted, “See! He’s sold out!” But did he? Or did he just play the only card on the table without flipping it over and losing the entire hand?
Let’s be very clear: a clever man never has to lie. That statement about the MMR vaccine is technically true. It does prevent measles infection. But at no point did RFK Jr. say people should get the shot. He didn’t endorse it. He didn’t call it “safe.” He didn’t dismiss any connection with autism. He simply stated a fact—because, in that moment, that was the surgical move required to keep the scalpels away from his throat.
Why? Because he’s not in a comment thread on social media. He’s in the lions’ den. And unlike most of us, if he makes a single misstep, he’s eaten alive. What most people don’t know is that Kennedy’s nomination wasn’t just opposed by the usual suspects on the Left. Nope. The real knife in the back came from inside the tent.
Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy—who played the part of the “reasonable Republican” by voting “yes” on RFK Jr.’s nomination—was already cutting a backroom deal with Big Pharma while the ink was still drying. Cassidy used his “yes” vote to build clout with the MAHA movement—appearing open-minded, bipartisan, and diplomatic.
But behind the scenes? He was angling for more power inside the Senate Health Committee. And once he landed that committee role, guess who came knocking?

That means Bobby needs to keep moving forward, not blow himself up with rhetorical grenades that make his mission impossible before it even begins. He’s doing political triage—on a patient hemorrhaging from 50 years of corruption—and the only way the patient survives is if Bobby’s blade stays precise.
It’s not ideal. No one said it was. But that’s why strategy matters. And if you still think he should go full scorched-earth right now, maybe ask yourself: what happens when the only guy with the guts to take on the machine gets incinerated in the process?

She showed up at the hospital post-measles with a tonsil issue, and from there, things spiraled—sepsis, treatment refusals, and medical protocols that reek of COVID-era malpractice. This is a case of institutional failure, not a cautionary tale about vaccine hesitancy. And Bobby knows that. But if he says that out loud right now, he’s crucified in the press, stripped of all credibility, and they’ll never let him get a foothold in the political arena again.
During his CBS interview, Kennedy was asked about the current measles epidemic and vaccines. He announced that new vaccine safety trials are now underway. He stated:
“We don’t know the risks of many of these products… They’re not adequately safety-tested… Many of the vaccines are tested for only 3-4 days with NO placebo group… I’ve always said … I’m not going to take people’s vaccines away from them… I’m going to make sure that we have good science so that people can make an informed choice. We are doing that science today.”
Let’s also be real: Kennedy is taking fire from all sides because he’s in the fight. He’s not watching from the bleachers with the rest of us throwing popcorn and purity tests. He’s out there, bloodied and bruised, still swinging. Still standing. He doesn’t get to say everything we want him to say—not yet. But maybe, just maybe, that’s because he’s trying to win.
If we give him a year and support him instead of sabotaging him, he can lay out the whole truth. But right now, he’s doing battlefield surgery. And we’re whining about our stubbed toes. So, let’s stop complaining, and let’s stop pointing fingers at Bobby.
Here’s a novel idea: instead of shooting Bobby in the face while he’s in our foxhole, maybe we could offer some cover fire. Maybe we could speak the truth that he’s strategically withholding just long enough to stay alive politically. And maybe—just maybe—we stop demanding he shoulder the entire movement on his back while we sit in judgment from the peanut gallery.
This is not the time for purity tests. It’s the time for unity. It’s time to cut through the noise. The real enemy isn’t RFK Jr.—it’s the billion-dollar Big Pharma puppeteers and their D.C. lapdogs like Bill Cassidy. They want the MAHA movement to turn on RFK Jr. They want you to be distracted by carefully placed outrage bait and emotionally triggered by social media whisper campaigns. Because the longer you scream at Bobby, the less you watch what Cassidy is doing behind the curtain.
They’re terrified of a man who won’t sell out, who knows their playbook, and who has the guts to call them out by name. Bobby Kennedy is in the arena, taking hits from all sides, not because he’s weak—but because he’s a threat. And that’s precisely why we need to stand with him now more than ever. This is a war for truth, for health freedom, and for the future of our children. If we don’t rally around the one man willing to take on the machine, we’ll lose this fight before it even begins.

Collateral Inhalation: Grave Health Consequences of Gaza Bombing on Israeli Civilians

Gaza is suffering the most intense bombing, per capita, of anywhere on earth, ever.
Over 100,000 tons of bombs have been dropped on Gaza, an area slightly smaller than the City of Detroit, Michigan, resulting in the recorded deaths of at least 60,000 Gazans and injuries to hundreds of thousands.¹
It is impossible to overstate the effects of the abominable bombing war on Gazans, their lives, their families, their health, and their communities.
What has escaped attention up until now is the undeniable environmental and health effects of the bombing of Gazans on Israelis, as well as on citizens of neighboring states, and the potential harm to U.S. military personnel in the region.
A study of explosion physics based on declassified Department of Defense data, as well as blast temperature data and consequent emissions; a review of wind patterns, together with publicly available data of health effects from 9/11, as well as data gathered from U.S. veterans of the Persian Gulf War, yield a shocking conclusion.
Israel, in executing the unprecedented bombing attack on Gaza, is, in effect, bombing itself, with grave consequences for the public health of its people.² What is being visited upon Gaza does not stay in Gaza.
The sustained bombing of Gaza pulverizes stone, heavy metals, and the human body. The vaporizing of human beings under extreme heat and pressure combines with dust, water vapor, and metallic particles the size of microns, all blasted upwards, aerosolized, wind-driven across borders, into Israel and surrounding countries.³
The unlimited bombing of Gaza has created an unparalleled ecological and biomedical feedback loop. Israel exhales death in Gaza and inhales the Gaza it has vaporized.
Israel, in bombing neighboring Gaza, is breathing in its own fallout, along with the vaporized remains of its declared enemies. The external consequences of violence becomes internalized. The substance of the oppressed communes with the oppressor.
On a clinical level, breathing in bioaerosols can compromise human immune systems.⁴ Breathing in ultrafine particles from non-biological war dust can cross the blood-brain barrier and contribute to neurodegenerative disease.⁵
Israel and the Palestinians share a common atmosphere. They inhale the same war dust, from bomb materials, carbon soot, and the fine particle remains of vaporized Gazans.
Human cremation occurs at temperatures between 1,400°F and 1,800°F.⁶ The blast temperatures of the bombs identified as being dropped on Gaza—MK-84 bombs: 4,496°F; GBU-39s: 4,892°F; BLU-109s: 3,632°F—far exceed this range.⁷ In comparison, blast furnaces used to melt steel operate at 2,500°F to 2,800°F.⁸
People at the epicenter of such bombings in Gaza are instantly turned into dust. This is a factor confounding the determination of exactly how many people have perished in Gaza since October 2023. How can an accurate body count be achieved if bodies have been turned to smoke and ash?
Let’s look at 9/11. The total confirmed dead: 2,753. Almost 40% of the victims were never identified, as their bodies were fragmented or vaporized, reduced to dust.⁹
When a bomb hits its target—for example, a tent city—the high-temperature explosion can vaporize a person so thoroughly that microscopic particles of DNA and loose molecules are suspended in air, mingling with dust and smoke as bioaerosols.¹⁰
These biologicals—DNA and fat in human tissue—turn to carbon, black dust, and smoke. The minerals of bones and teeth, skeletal dust, go airborne. Fragments of cells can float in the air, bubbles holding fat, bone, and broken DNA strands travel with the wind and are breathed in dozens of miles from the blast site.¹¹
It is not only the superheat that destroys the human body. The explosive force of a bomb, in terms of pounds per square inch (psi), can produce vaporization at the blast site, an impact equivalent to a plane plunging into the earth at high speed.¹²
As 100,000 tons of bombs have been dropped in Gaza, the matter destroyed takes a different form, as toxic pollutants carried aloft in gas, dust, vapor, and particulates.
Specifically, toxic quantities of cadmium, nickel, lead, mercury, and arsenic are released into the air, together with dioxins, furans, PCBs, (polychlorinated biphenyls); PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) and VOCs (volatile organic compounds).¹³
One calculation indicates that 100,000 tons of bombs, exploded in a densely populated area of Gaza, can generate between 800,000 to 1.2 million tons of pollution.¹⁴
Add to this the dust of Gazans’ human remains and you have extreme airborne consequences carried by the wind, directly into Israel, particularly the central and northern regions, and far beyond.
There are relevant comparisons for the health effects of a tremendous explosion in an urban area. A month after 9/11, people in Manhattan began to develop chronic coughs.
A longitudinal study of members of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) revealed that after six months, firemen began to suffer from chronic bronchitis; others saw the onset of pulmonary fibrosis.¹⁵Two years after 9/11, a higher incidence of thyroid, prostate, breast, and other cancers arose among those exposed to 9/11 contaminants. Early-onset neurodegenerative, Alzheimer’s-type symptoms presented after five years or longer.¹⁶
Based on epidemiological data from studies of those near the people and buildings destroyed on 9/11, certain health effects can be anticipated in Israel.
The people of Sderot, Netivot, Be’er Sheva—all within a short distance of Gaza—are at high risk of long-term health effects of the bombing. Ashkelon and Tel Aviv have been exposed to environmental consequences, as has northern Israel and even Jordan.
While Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection operates air-monitoring stations at sites proximate to Gaza, it would be instructive, given the intensity of the bombing, to see if the effects of war-related pollution are being fully disclosed to the Israeli public.¹⁷
Given the unprecedented levels of bombing in Gaza, the types of bombs used, their explosive power, the extent of physical destruction, the extraordinary number of casualties, the creation of large plumes of black smoke containing the genetic material of burned and vaporized Gazans, the people of Israel—on the other side of the Gaza boundary—will likely experience increased levels of respiratory illness, asthma-like and other pulmonary diseases, and a sharp increase in cancer as a direct result of being exposed to toxic airborne substances present at a microscopic level.¹⁸
Added to this direct hazard is the ongoing recirculation of wind across the vast hellscape to which Gaza has been reduced. That, too, will sweep up and redistribute the contaminants from the over 50 million tons of debris from the land of Gaza to the land of Israel.
At this point, the calamity which has befallen Gaza as a result of incessant bombing will visit, in various forms and degrees of harm, southern and central Israel, western Jordan, the northeast Sinai Peninsula, northern Egypt (Delta and Cairo), Lebanon, Cyprus, southwestern Syria, northwestern Saudi Arabia, southeastern Turkey, Crete, Greece, Sicily, and Malta. Additionally, sea spray can carry aerosolized particles clear across the Mediterranean Sea.¹⁹
The United States has a substantial number of Naval forces in the eastern Mediterranean, including two aircraft carriers, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and the USS Gerald R. Ford, as well as numerous other assault ships.²⁰
U.S. military installations are present at Incirlik, Turkey, Naples, Italy, Cyprus, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. All face “war dust” pollution hazards as a result of the bombing of Gaza.²¹
I know well the adverse health consequences suffered by US servicemen and women who served in the Persian Gulf War, 1990–1991.
Veterans of that war came to my congressional office complaining of constant pain, neurological, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal and respiratory symptoms, all of which were ignored or covered up by the Department of Defense.
As a Member of Congress, over the objections of the Department of Defense, I took up the cause of veterans who suffered what came to be known as Gulf War Illness, a multi-symptom condition still affecting, to this very day, nearly 245,000 veterans of the Persian Gulf War.²²
Bernie Sanders and I worked together in Congress to obtain funding for research into GWI, which is now a medically recognized, war-related condition.²³
When you see the measurable, catastrophic effect which war environments can have on those who serve, and the measurable catastrophic effect of those proximate to the 9/11 attacks, and the indefensible obliteration bombing of Gaza and its people, you may come to an understanding of the wholly fallacious notion of the containment of war and why I assert Israel is bombing itself.
The bombing of Gaza has created a human health crisis which cannot be ignored any longer.
There must be an immediate cease-fire on humanitarian and ecological bases.
The UN must urgently address the collapse of the Palestinian public health system, including the implications of the war for respiratory diseases and cancers among survivors.The UN must lead a Transboundary Environmental and Human Health Assessment of the Immediate and Long-Term Implications of War Dust, which will include transboundary assessments of the toxic environmental effects of the war.Monitoring stations must be set up. The people of the world have a right to know what is in the air they breathe.[…]

Israel’s Top Politicos Warn of Impending Civil War
Netanyahu’s war is not just on Gaza, the occupied West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Iraq – it is on Israel’s own institutions, opposition parties, and the last shreds of internal dissent. Now, the occupation state’s most senior political veterans are warning of a full-on Civil War.
While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims to be leading his people to “total victory,” aimed at “changing the face of the Middle East,” he is instead steering the state into autocracy and fueling a domestic collapse.
“We are preparing for the next stages of the war – on seven fronts,” stated the Israeli premier back in early March, prior to abandoning the Gaza ceasefire. Yet he overlooked the internal battleground brewing at home – one with no clear exit.
Simultaneously on trial for corruption, Netanyahu has worked to centralize authority by purging dissent and placing government structures under personal control. This has escalated tensions with Israel’s intelligence community and military establishment, igniting internal unrest that rivals the external war fronts.
A judicial coup
Before the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 7 October 2023, Netanyahu’s ruling coalition had pushed hard for judicial “reforms” aimed at neutering Israel’s Supreme Court. With no formal constitution, Israel relies on the Supreme Court as a final check on executive overreach. Dismantling this institution was a central goal for Netanyahu and his far-right allies.
At the time, President Isaac Herzog was already warning that a civil war was approaching. Weekly protests erupted in Tel Aviv and occupied Jerusalem. Demonstrators feared a theocratic redefinition of the state that would erase its secular character.
Even Israeli intelligence and military personnel joined in opposition, and in March 2023, the Histadrut – the occupation state’s top labor union – endorsed a general strike. Many soldiers even refused to serve.
Though the war on Gaza temporarily sidelined this internal crisis, Netanyahu swiftly revived his power grab once public scrutiny shifted, blaming intelligence chiefs for operational failures while reinstating his purge of rivals.
Power consolidated through crisis
The Israeli judicial reforms, which split Israeli society down the middle in 2023, were aimed at curbing the powers of the Supreme Court. Israel has no Constitution and instead modeled its system on that of the previous British Mandate and Ottoman forces governing Palestine.
The Supreme Court had therefore long stood as a means of preventing politicians in ruling coalitions from fundamentally changing the nature of the State, acting as a balancing force for the government.
Netanyahu’s proposed amendments to this system, more accurately described as an overhaul of the judiciary, would enable his coalition to re-legislate laws, influence how Supreme Court justices are chosen, and drastically limit the powers wielded by the court to strike down laws.
An example of this was the “reasonableness bill,” initially passed in July 2023, that sought to prevent the Supreme Court from cancelling government decisions deemed “extremely unreasonable.”
In all, the Israeli far-right coalition government, composed of extremist religious parties, was perceived as seeking to utilize the judicial overhaul to usher in a series of laws that would make Israel a theocratic state.
Naturally, many Israelis within the army, intelligence agencies, political parties, and financial elite were worried about such foundational changes to the nature of their country and its institutions, thus triggering the robust backlash against Netanyahu.
At the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza, Israel had formed an emergency war government, which included a range of senior officials from across the political divide. Left in shock by the sudden defeat of Israel’s Southern Command and fixated on what was to follow, the legal reform issue sank into irrelevance for some time.
However, tell-tale signs suggested the domestic crisis was not over, as Netanyahu quickly jumped to blame his own intelligence community leaders for the 7 October failure, triggering infighting that his belated apology could not contain.
By June 2024, opposition figure Benny Gantz and former military chief Gadi Eisenkot had resigned from the cabinet, collapsing the fragile unity government. This cleared the path for Netanyahu to reassert his power agenda – first initiated under the guise of judicial reform.
In November 2024, fellow fugitive defense minister Yoav Gallant, who had repeatedly clashed with Netanyahu, was forced to resign. He was replaced by Israel Katz, a long-time loyalist with limited experience. Meanwhile, former rival Gideon Saar was brought in as foreign minister – a strategic co-opting of dissent.
Reshaping Israel’s command
That same month, two senior aides to the Israeli prime minister were indicted for compromising state security by funneling classified information directly to Netanyahu and bypassing official channels. These revelations stemmed from the so-called “Bibi Files” scandal – a trove of damaging material suppressed for months under a gag order imposed on Israeli media.
According to Haaretz, “Netanyahu’s inner circle is up to its neck in investigations.” The report detailed how the prime minister insulated himself from direct liability through a tightly controlled layer of loyalists, creating what the outlet described as “a zone of immunity for himself – a layer of aides and advisors who separate him from the latest suspicions.”
With Shin Bet’s inquiries confined to selective leaks and the Israeli police effectively neutralized by the looming shadow of extremist, right-wing Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, Netanyahu has remained untouchable. Ben Gvir had briefly stepped down during the lull in Gaza operations, only to reappear as Netanyahu’s standoff with Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar reignited.
Amid this institutional deadlock, Netanyahu handed responsibility for ceasefire and prisoner negotiations with Hamas to his close confidant Ron Dermer. The move stripped Israel’s Mossad and Shin Bet of their traditional roles in such talks, effectively turning the prime minister’s office into the epicenter of all high-stakes diplomatic engagement. It marked a quiet coup – Netanyahu’s latest maneuver to concentrate power.
He then replaced the outgoing military chief of staff with Eyal Zamir, a long-time ally who previously served as his military secretary. Upon taking office, Zamir initiated sweeping personnel changes in the Israeli army’s high command, restructuring it to better align with Netanyahu’s “seven-front” war doctrine.
Not long after, army spokesperson Daniel Hagari – one of the few public officials to retain widespread trust – was pushed out. Hagari had clashed with the prime minister during the war in Gaza. By November 2023, polls showed just four percent of Israelis trusted Netanyahu, while 73.7 percent placed confidence in Hagari. Despite ongoing hostilities, the spokesperson’s popularity remained consistent – ultimately sealing his political fate.
The intelligence war
On 21 March, Netanyahu attempted to sack Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, intensifying his power struggle with domestic intelligence chiefs. The dismissal – issued amid growing scrutiny over the “Bibi Files” leak scandal – sparked mass protests and was temporarily blocked by the Supreme Court.
Bar, for his part, has argued that his dismissal was not ordered on legitimate grounds, yet the government has stated a “lack of trust, one which doesn’t create the space for a productive work environment,” was indeed grounds for firing the intelligence chief.
Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara later ruled that the firing of Bar constituted a “conflict of interests,” leading to her own dismissal. In response, the chairman of the Israeli Bar Association, Amit Becher, demanded that Justice Minister Yariv Levin halt the sacking process.
Bar’s ousting coincided with the resurfacing of the “Qatargate” scandal, first reported by Haaretz journalist Bar Peleg. The affair centered on Netanyahu aides allegedly paid to run a pro-Qatar PR campaign while working inside the PM’s office – yet another sign of corruption eating away at the state’s core.
When the Supreme Court stepped in to delay Bar’s firing, it reignited anti-court rhetoric among Netanyahu’s far-right coalition. The long-running campaign to neuter Israel’s judiciary was back on the agenda.
Road to authoritarianism
Netanyahu’s strategy is now clear: purge dissent, install loyalists, and consolidate power through chaos. As Israeli journalist Uzi Baram puts it, there is a “battle for Israel’s soul.” Former PM Ehud Olmert issued an even graver warning, predicting that “hooligans,” emboldened by Netanyahu’s rhetoric and armed by Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, may soon storm television studios just as they have threatened the judiciary.
“Slowly and quietly,” warned another former prime minister, Ehud Barak, “Netanyahu is leading Israel to the point of no return. The point of democratic collapse will come without us being able to predict it in advance – and at a point when we can no longer stop it.”
Opposition leader and former PM Yair Lapid is now warning of political assassinations inside Israel. Last week, he warned ominously:
“I now want to issue a warning based on unequivocal intelligence information: We are on the way to another disaster. This time it will come from within. The levels of incitement and madness are unprecedented. There will be political murder here. Jews will kill Jews,”
Meanwhile, around 100,000 Israeli reservists are refusing to show up for duty. The broader public mood reflects deep unease – according to Maariv, 60 percent of Israelis now believe civil war is a real danger.
Hundreds of Mossad veterans, army reservists, and ex-officials have signed a letter demanding a prisoner exchange with Hamas. It is a last-ditch effort to arrest the descent into authoritarianism. Netanyahu’s loyalists are issuing orders to fire these veterans.
As war rages abroad, Netanyahu’s fiercest battle is now at “home” – against the very institutions that once defined the occupation state.

China’s Nuclear Energy Breakthrough
By Hua BinAs the world is spellbound by the zigzagging tariff war drama launched by reality TV star Donnie Trump and people marvel at the sheer destructiveness of a stupid mad man, a truly momentous event just happened in China.
In early April, Chinese scientists achieved a milestone in clean energy technology by successfully adding fresh fuel to an operational thorium molten salt reactor, the first of its kind in the world. The breakthrough signals the arrival of commercially viable thorium nuclear reactor in China’s future energy mix.
Thorium is much safer and more abundant alternative to uranium for nuclear power as it is widely available, cheaper to extract, has higher energy density, and produces far less long-lasting nuclear waste.
It is far safer than uranium as it is not fissile on its own so cannot be weaponized. Nuclear industry experts see thorium as the holy grail for future energy revolution next to nuclear fusion, which I’ll touch on briefly at the end.
Thorium is found in abundant quantity in earth’s crust all over the world. One single mine in China’s Inner Mongolia, the Bayan Obo mine, has enough thorium deposits to theoretically meet China’s energy needs for the next 20,000 years, while producing minimal radioactive waste.
The most promising technological direction is to use thorium in molten salt reactors. While multiple nations are developing the technology, China is the first to build an experimental thorium molten salt reactor.
The latest breakthrough to add fresh fuel to an operational reactor indicates such technology is ready for sustained commercial deployment.
It marks the first long-term, stable operation of the technology, putting China at the forefront of a global race to harness thorium for nuclear power.
The experimental reactor, located in the Gobi Desert in China’s west, uses molten salt as the fuel carrier and coolant, and thorium as the fuel source. The reactor is designed to sustainably generate 2 megawatts of thermal power.
The development was announced by the project’s chief scientist, Xu Hongjie, at the Chinese Academy of Sciences on April 8. Xu said China “now leads the global frontier for thorium nuclear technology”.
China’s thorium molten salt reactor project began with theoretical research in the 1970s, and in 2009 the CAS leadership tasked Xu with making the next-generation nuclear energy technology a reality.
The project team expanded from dozens of members to more than 400 researchers within two years.
“We learned by doing, and did by learning,” Xu said. The challenges were immense – designing new materials, troubleshooting for extreme temperatures, and dealing with engineering components that had never been built before.
After construction of the experimental reactor started in 2018, most of the scientists involved in the project gave up their holidays – they worked day and night, and some stayed on site for more than 300 days in a year. The Gobi Desert is thousands of kilometres away from the major coastal cities.
By October 2023 it was built and achieved criticality – a sustained nuclear chain reaction. And by June 2024 it had reached full-power operation.
Earlier this year the process of thorium fuel reloading was completed while the reactor was running – making it the only operational thorium reactor in the world.
“We chose the hardest path, but the right one,” Xu was quoted as saying, referring to the drive for a real-world application rather than a purely academic pursuit.
A much bigger thorium molten salt reactor is already being built in China and is slated to achieve criticality by 2030. That research reactor is designed to produce 10 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 10,000 homes for a year.
China’s state-owned shipbuilding industry has also unveiled a design for thorium powered container ship that could potentially achieve emission-free maritime transport.
Meanwhile, US efforts to develop a molten salt reactor remain on paper, despite bipartisan congressional support and Department of Energy initiatives.
Xu said, “in the nuclear game, there are no quick wins. You need to have strategic stamina, focusing on doing just one thing for 20, 30 years.”
In addition to thorium reactors, China is on the leading edge of developing nuclear fusion technology (as opposed to current fission technology) that could lead to carbon-free, almost limitless, and clean energy. Fusion is the way sun powers itself and generates 4 times the amount of energy as fission.
At the heart of this fusion revolution lies the tokamak, a donut-shaped device designed to contain superheated plasma using powerful magnetic fields. By mimicking the sun’s conditions—where hydrogen atoms fuse into helium—tokamaks enable the release of tremendous amounts of energy.
China is at the leading edge in global nuclear fusion development. Most recently, China achieved several key milestones in fusion research, including –
– Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), dubbed as “artificial sun” in China, has set new record in January 2025. The project is based Hefei and run by the China Academy of Sciences (CAS), the world’s leading scientific research institute.
EAST maintained a high-confinement plasma for 1,066 seconds, surpassing previous world record of 403 seconds – a crucial step towards sustained fusion reactions necessary for practical energy generation.
– HL-2M Tokamak, located in Chengdu, is China’s largest and most advanced tokamak. It has achieved first plasma discharge and high plasma parameters, capable of producing plasma temperatures exceeding 200 million degrees Celsius and plasma currents over 2.5 million amperes, essential for efficient fusion reactions.
– HH70 Tokamak, developed by Shanghai-based private company Energy Singularity, stands out for integrating high temperature superconducting magnets made from REBCO (rare earth barium copper oxide). This cutting edge technology dramatically reduces the size and cost of conventional tokamaks, paving the way for more accessible and commercial fusion energy.
Energy Singularity plans to construct a next-gen tokamak by 2027 and a full scale technological demonstrator for fusion nuclear reaction by 2030.
Although commercial viability remains the final frontier, breakthroughs like EAST and HH70 showcase the significant strides towards turning nuclear fusion into a practical energy solution.

Bill Gates Set to Profit Millions From UK’s Decision to ‘Block the Sun’ via Chemtrails
The UK government is poised to approve controversial geoengineering experiments within weeks, costing £50 million, to reflect sunlight away from Earth using chemtrails technology. Backed by Bill Gates, these trials position him to reap millions in profits as the UK pushes to lead global efforts in manipulating the planet’s climate.
The Advanced Research and Invention Agency (Aria) is spearheading the funding to establish the UK as a pioneer in geoengineering research, according to the Daily Mail and other sources. The initiative aims to advance techniques that alter atmospheric conditions, sparking debate over the environmental and ethical implications of such large-scale interventions.
Modernity.news reports: The reports outline that the experiments will focus on Sunlight Reflection Methods (SRM), including Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) and Marine Cloud Brightening (MCB).
SAI involves injecting tiny reflective particles, such as sulphur dioxide, into the stratosphere to mimic the cooling effect of volcanic eruptions, while MCB uses ships to spray sea-salt particles into low-lying clouds to enhance their reflectivity.
They cite evidence from emissions on shipping routes and volcanic eruptions, like the 2014 Iceland event, suggesting these methods could temporarily cool the planet by reflecting sunlight back into space.
Professor Jim Haywood from the University of Exeter highlighted the potential of these techniques, noting that ship emissions have historically brightened clouds, creating a dimming effect. However, the 2020 reduction in sulphur dioxide emissions from shipping led to a spike in warming, underscoring the complex balance of such interventions.
Aria’s programme, led by Professor Mark Symes, will include small-scale, controlled outdoor tests to gather critical real-world data. These trials aim to assess whether SRM can prevent catastrophic climate tipping points, such as the collapse of ocean currents or ice sheets. Alongside outdoor experiments, the programme will fund climate monitoring, modelling studies, indoor tests, and public attitude surveys, the report further notes.
Potential side effects of geoengineering include regional droughts, crop failures, or shifts in weather patterns. A 2015 study by the Geomar Helmholtz Centre suggested that even combined geoengineering methods might not prevent temperatures from rising beyond 2°C by 2100, and abrupt cessation could trigger rapid warming, known as “termination shock.”
It’s clear that geoengineering experiments have already been underway for years, now that climate alarmism has been relentlessly pushed for decades, it’s been deemed acceptable to disclose this particular plan to the public.
In the U.S. some States, in addition to Federal government agencies under the Trump administration are seeking bans on such radical geoengineering activity.

This documentary concerns the declining birthrates in the industrial world, which the filmmakers attribute to declining fertility, improved birth control technology, worsening economic conditions, the changing social role of women and a pervasive depopulation ideology preaching that only reducing global population will solve the world’s environmental problems.
At present the average fertility rate in the West is 1.53 children per woman, well below the 2.0 rate required to maintain a stable population. One hundred countries (including China, India, Japan, Korea and the US) have fertility rates below the 2.0. Now that women have entered the job market in large numbers, women are delaying their reproductive years. In Western countries, the average maternal age for a firstborn child is 29.4. In the Middle East, it’s 31. In Italy, Luxembourg and Spain, it’s 31. As female fertility decreases significant after age 35, this has caused major problems for couples trying to conceive.
The surrogate mother industry (where couples pay women to carry their genetic offspring) turns over $1 billion annually. The filmmakers highlight the thriving surrogate industry in pre-war Ukraine, one of the few countries where surrogate pregnancy is still legal. Prior to the current war Ukrainian surrogates, foreign couples paid Ukrainian women $US37,000 each to give birth to 3,000 babies annually.
Most Western countries view a shrinking native population as a demographic crisis, as the younger working population becomes too small to support a growing elderly demographic. Several offer financial incentives for having children. Italy offers a free plot of land to couples who have a third child. Hungary offers a one-off grant of $30,000 euros to couples who pledge to have children.
Owing to the dominance of the fashion industry over the Western media, motherhood presently has a negative image. This is not helped by by a high profile depopulation campaign (spearheaded by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who have committed to save the environment by stopping at two children). In part owing to this campaign, young Westerners (who filmmakers assert are “less resilient to life’s challenges”) decide having kids isn’t worth the trouble.
In recent years, growing numbers of Western women link having kids with perpetual under-employment, lost career opportunities and poverty [Ed Note Because the link is only too real in Western countries].
For the last half century, having children has become a choice, as the pioneering ideas of Dr Charles Knowlton have resulted in safe and effective birth control technology, enabling couples to separate intercourse from reproduction.

Thousands of Members of Amish Community Helping to Rebuild Western North Carolina

North Carolina is still reeling from the massive damage caused by Hurricane Helene last fall. While the cleanup and rebuilding has been slow and steady, there is still a ton of work to do.
One group that has stepped in to lend their tremendous building skills is the Amish community. There are currently thousands of Amish people, mainly from Pennsylvania, who are helping to rebuild in the western part of the state, where the most damage is.
The national media has completely ignored this amazing contribution from the Amish. These people deserve praise for their help.

It’s been more than six months since Hurricane Helene swept through western North Carolina, leaving behind destruction and hardship. Few places were hit as hard as Chimney Rock Village, but now, signs of progress are everywhere.
The recovery effort has been powered by an outpouring of support, with volunteers and donations helping to restore the beloved mountain town.
“When we look around, we still see tremendous damage and realize it will take a long time to build back,” Mayor Peter O’Leary said. “But at the same time, we have made tremendous progress, and that is very encouraging.”
Chimney Rock Village is not just rebuilding, it is redefining itself. Every business in the village sustained some level of damage. While full recovery will take time, Chimney Rock is finding its footing again through the kindness of others.
“We come out here every morning, working mostly in Chimney Rock and in Bat Cave,” Amos Stoltzfus, a volunteer with an Amish community from Pennsylvania called Great Needs Trust, said.

RFK Jr. Launches Long-Awaited Offensive Against Deadly COVID-19 mRNA Shots
As millions of Americans anxiously await action from the new HHS leadership against the deadly COVID-19 mRNA injections—injected into over 9 million children this year—Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has finally gone publicly on the offensive:
Let’s go over each key point made by RFK Jr.:
The recommendation for children was always dubious. It was dubious because kids had almost no risk for COVID-19. Certain kids that had very profound morbidities may have a slight risk. Most kids don’t.
In the largest review to date on myocarditis following SARS-CoV-2 infection vs. COVID-19 vaccination, Mead et al found that vaccine-induced myocarditis is not only significantly more common but also more severe—particularly in children and young males. Our findings make clear that the risks of the shots overwhelmingly outweigh any theoretical benefit:
The OpenSAFELY study included more than 1 million adolescents and children and found that myocarditis was documented ONLY in COVID-19 vaccinated groups and NOT after COVID-19 infection. There were NO COVID-19-related deaths in any group. A&E attendance and unplanned hospitalization were higher after first vaccination compared to unvaccinated groups:
So why are we giving this to tens of millions of kids when the vaccine itself does have profound risk? We’ve seen huge associations of myocarditis and pericarditis with strokes, with other injuries, with neurological injuries.
The two largest COVID-19 vaccine safety studies ever conducted, involving 99 million (Faksova et al) and 85 million people (Raheleh et al), confirm RFK Jr.’s concerns, documenting significantly increased risks of serious adverse events following vaccination, including:

And this was clear even in the clinical data that came out of Pfizer. There were actually more deaths. There were about 23% more deaths in the vaccine group than the placebo group. We need to ask questions and we need to consult with parents.
Actually, according to Pfizer’s clinical trial data, there were 43% more deaths in the vaccine group compared to the placebo group when post-unblinding deaths are included:
We need to give people informed consent, and we shouldn’t be making recommendations that are not good for the population.
Public acknowledgment of the grave harms of COVID-19 vaccines signals that real action is right around the corner. However, we must hope that action is taken for ALL age groups, as no one is spared from their life-reducing effects:

Pfizer Warns Vaxxed Men Not to Have Sex with Women of Childbearing Age

Why would Pfizer tell COVID vaccinated men not to have sex?
According to Dr. Naomi Wolf in the book: the Pfizer Papers, Pfizer warns vaccinated men not to have intercourse with childbearing age women…. but they do not say why, except that it’s clear that something they fear in “exposure” to the vaccine is via sperm. This may be what Pfizer was afraid of.
The Pfizer Papers written by WarRoom/DailyClout research volunteers, features new reports which are based on the primary source Pfizer clinical trial documents released under court order and on related medical literature.
The book shows in high relief that Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial was deeply flawed and that the pharmaceutical company knew by November 2020 that its vaccine was neither safe nor effective. The reports detail vaccine-induced harms throughout the human body, including to the reproductive system; show that women suffer vaccine-related adverse events at a 3:1 ratio; expose that vaccine-induced myocarditis is not rare, mild, or transient; and, shockingly, demonstrate that the mRNA vaccines have created a new category of multi-system, multi-organ disease, which is being called “CoVax Disease.”
Despite the fact that Pfizer committed in its own clinical trial protocol to follow the placebo arm of its trial for twenty-four months, Pfizer vaccinated approximately 95 percent of placebo recipients by March 2021, thus eliminating the trial’s control group and making it impossible for comparative safety determinations to be made.
Just as importantly, The Pfizer Papers makes it clear that the US Food and Drug Administration knew about the shortfalls of Pfizer’s clinical trial as well as the harms caused by the company’s mRNA COVID vaccine product, thus highlighting the FDA’s abject failure to fulfill its mission to “[protect] the public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, and medical devices.”
The Pfizer Papers offers an in-depth look at how Big Pharma, the US government, and healthcare entities stand protected behind the broad legal immunity provided by the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act) when creating, prescribing, and administering vaccines; and, under that shield of protection, do what is best for their bottom lines rather than for the health and well-being of Americans.
