We are destroying the planet’s fungal networks at an alarming rate. Based on current trends, more than 90% of the Earth’s soil will be degraded by 2050. Modern industries, from agriculture to forestry, have failed to take account of the life in the soil. Despite the fact that mycorrhizal fungi supply as much as 80% of a plant’s nutrients, intensive farming practices – through a combination of plowing and application of chemical fertilisers, pesticides and fungicides – severely reduce the abundance, diversity and physical integrity of fungal networks.

City Declares Independence From California in Vaccine Protest

A city in northern California has made a symbolic gesture of defiance against the state’s COVID mandates by declaring itself a “constitutional republic.”
The city council in Oroville voted 6-1 in a declaration aimed at showing its opposition to measures aimed at mitigating the pandemic, such as requirements that schoolchildren be vaccinated.
Leaders in the city of about 20,000 people about 70 miles south of state capital Sacramento, said the designation was a way to stand up against state rules it did not agree with, although the move is unlikely to have any legal standing.

UK Cuts Gap Between 2nd and 3rd Covid Shot to Three Months
The health secretary Sajid Javid has confirmed Covid booster jabs will be offered to all adults in the UK to help stem the emergence of the new Omicron variant.
The health secretary also confirmed the JCVI had approved cutting the gap between second and third doses from six months to three months.

During the Greek Dark Ages {1100-800 BC) the Greek peninsula was organized into fortified cities known as Polis. These were run by militarized aristocracies that treated commoners as virtual slaves. Owing to major mountain ranges that separated them, they established overseas colonies ranging from Spain to the Black Sea (450 by 750 BC) to source scarce commodities.
A steady increase in trade would lead to a rising middle class to challenge the power of the nobility. The result was continual unrest during the period 750-550 BC. In 650 BC, an insurrection in Athens led a series of middle class tyrants* to seize power from the nobility and implement more equitable distribution of agricultural land.
Around 594 BC, Solon, an aristocrat who distinguished himself as both a merchant and military leader, was appointed chief magistrate of Athens. Solon’s reforms included the cancellation of commoners’ debts, the abolition of debt slavery and the appointment of rich merchants to the ruling council, as well as men of noble birth.
In 508 BC, the tyrant Cleisthenes seized power. The so-called “father of Athenian democracy” granted the popular assembly (elected by 20% of the population*) the right to pass laws, as well as creating a council of 500 chosen by lottery.
The city-state Sparta also established a form of democracy. Ruled by a king and his chosen council of elders, Sparta also had a popular assembly with the power to veto their proposals.
In Sparta all males were expected to begin military training at age 7. At 20, they were conscripted into the military until their retirement at age 60. At 30, they were allowed to marry but could only visit their wives at night.
In 480 BC, Athens and Sparta allied to defeat Persian invaders at Thermopylae although Persia continued to occupy many overseas Greek colonies.
In 431 BC the Spartan League (Sparta and the city-states allied with them) declared war on the Delian League (consisting of Athens and its allied city-states). Known as the Peloponnesian Wars, the 23-year war that ensued would end the Golden Age of Greece. Both democracy and the flourishing of art, literature and science it promoted ended when Athens surrendered in 408 BC
*In ancient Greece, a “tyrant” was a commoner who took power by force and thus ruled illegitimately.
**Slaves, foreigners and women were excluded from voting.

“One federal agency, the DEA, had over 18,000 active confidential sources assigned to its domestic offices, with over 9,000 of those sources receiving approximately $237 million in payments for information or services they provided to the DEA” (between Oct. 1, 2010 and Sept. 30, 2015, source: 2016 DOJ IG report).

The latest ‘scary’ variant in the COVID-19 saga is named omicron.
Mainstream media is going into fearmongering overdrive, and politicians have taken steps to create a self-manufactured crisis.
Yet, South Africa hasn’t resorted to panic mode following news of the omicron variant.
Dr. Angelique Coetzee noted unusual but mild symptoms in her patients.
South African residents don’t appear to be afraid of the virus either.
The country has a relatively low COVID-19 inoculation rate and built a stockpile of unused COVID-19 jabs.
South Africa’s COVID-19 inoculation campaign came grinding to a halt, and they asked manufacturers to stop sending them additional doses.
However, something strange happened shortly after this exchange between South Africa and the vaccine manufacturers.
Days before Omicron was announced S. Africa halted their vaccine orders from Pfizer due to lack of interest by its citizens.
Suddenly there’s a new variant originating from the region and travel is banned.

South Africa has asked Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N) and Pfizer (PFE.N) to delay delivery of COVID-19 vaccines because it now has too much stock, health ministry officials said, as vaccine hesitancy slows an inoculation campaign.

South Africa asked Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer Inc. to suspend delivery of Covid-19 vaccines as it now has enough stock, an illustration of how plunging demand is undermining the country’s rollout ahead of a potential fourth wave of infections.
Africa’s most developed economy has fully protected just 35% of adults, more than six months after doses were first made available to the public. About 120,000 people received shots on Tuesday, less than half the daily peak.
“We have over 16 million doses in-country, or more than 150 days at present consumption,” Nicholas Crisp, deputy director-general of the Department of Health, said by text message Wednesday. “It makes no sense to stockpile and risk expiry when others are desperate for supplies.”
The move contrasts with the country’s position earlier in the year when the government was heavily criticized for being slow to secure vaccines ahead of a devastating mid-year surge. It also comes as most of Africa remains chronically short of doses, partly because richer countries rushed to tie up vast quantities of stock.
Hesitancy Challenge“It is entirely owing to hesitancy,” Crisp said. “We have plenty vaccine and capacity but hesitancy is a challenge. Unfortunately, it means that many unvaccinated people may have an unhappy festive season and will possibly result in hospitals being congested.”
According to Our World in Data, 23.8% of South Africans are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and 28.3% have received at least one dose.
Bloomberg released their article about South Africa requesting a stoppage of COVID-19 jab deliveries on November 24th.
On November 26th, the WHO identified omicron as a “variant of concern.”

A COVID-19 variant spreading in South Africa was dubbed “omicron” and classified a “variant of concern” by the World Health Organization on Friday, as the U.S. and other nations reacted to the newly discovered variant with travel restrictions.
Experts with the World Health Organization met Friday to assess the variant, which appears to have a high number of mutations in the virus’ spike protein, prompting worries about how easily it will spread. While good data on the risks of omicron is likely weeks away, the organization cited early evidence suggesting an increased risk of reinfection.
The U.S. said it will restrict travel from South Africa, as well as Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi, according to a statement from senior officials from the Biden administration.
Isn’t it odd that the latest variant was discovered in a country experiencing rampant vaccine hesitancy?
And does anyone else find it peculiar that the variant was ‘discovered’ days after said country told the pharmaceutical companies to stop sending COVID-19 jabs?

All American adults now eligible for “booster” shots from Pfizer, Moderna, says FDA, even as the very same jabs are already catastrophically failing

As expected, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given the green light for all Americans 18 years of age an older to take the “booster” shot of their choice for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
In an announcement, FDA director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Dr. Peter Marks said he “determined that the currently available data support expanding the eligibility of a single booster of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to individuals 18 years of age and older.”
Based on a very brief analysis of just 200 people for Pfizer and 149 people for Moderna, the FDA decided that there is more than enough evidence to show that getting a third injection produces amazing immunity or something, and that everyone should comply.
It seems to be the consensus now that “immunity” from the jabs wanes rapidly, disappearing almost entirely after a few months. In order to re-up it, the “fully vaccinated” are being told they need to get “boosted.”
“The drop (in immunity) is more pronounced in the elderly and those who have serious underlying health conditions like obesity,” claims The Epoch Times.
FDA officials override advisory panel, recommend boosters in defiance of scienceEarly on, the FDA pretended to be against the booster shots. An advisory panel voted against expanding the follow-up jabs to people of all ages, only to later phase it all in starting with the elderly.
Now, people as young as 18 can sign up to receive any of the currently available booster shots, regardless of which brand they chose for their “primary series” of injections.
What actually happened is that FDA officials sidestepped the recommendation of the agency’s advisory panel to not recommend the boosters at all. Those at the top apparently wanted the boosters approved no matter what, so they overrode the decision.
