New Covid Wave Scare Campaign: A Massive Flop

New Covid Wave Scare Campaign: A Massive Flop

By Rebekah Barnett

Like the Marvel franchise, with its unlimited instalments and spin-offs, a new Covid scare campaign is underway in Australia.

Like the Marvel franchise, the entertainment content exists largely to create demand for merchandise.

Unlike most Marvel films, this latest virus fear-mongering drive is turning out to be a massive flop.

The hook: There’s a new “highly contagious” Covid Omicron subvariant in town, catchily named NB.1.8.1.

Sticking with time-tested tradition, health authorities, experts, and media are playing the ‘cases, cases, cases’ angle, as the latest variant “sweeps the nation” with what I calculate to be Australia’s twelfth Covid wave since the pandemic scare series kicked off in 2020.

Exposition: “According to Griffith University, the NB.1.8.1 variant makes up more than 40 per cent of total COVID cases tested in Victoria, around 25 per cent in Western Australia and New South Wales, around 20 per cent in Queensland and less than 10 per cent in South Australia,” reports ABC.

“There are hundreds of different strains of Omicron, and the new subvariant NB.1.8.1 is driving up infections and hospitalisations, particularly in Asia and Western Australia,” reports the Daily Mail.

Narrator’s aside: Case counts and hospitalisations are well within the normal range in Western Australia (WA), and no one has been admitted to ICU with Covid for months, according to the latest WA Health reporting.

Source: Virus WAtch, 11 May 2025, WA Health.Source: Virus WAtch, 11 May 2025, WA Health.

We’re not seeing anything out of the ordinary in national statistics either.

Source: Australian Respiratory Surveillance Report – 5 May to 18 May 2025.Source: Australian Respiratory Surveillance Report – 5 May to 18 May 2025.

However, we mustn’t let this contextualising information get in the way of the narrative arc.

Climactic buildup: Back to cases, cases, cases. It’s “pretty much everywhere,” according to ABC. “Doctors are expecting a further spike in cases,” so “experts are urging people to get their COVID booster jab.”

Source: ABC

Endless vaccination is the only way out!

Climactic escalation: But experts are furious that Australians are not vaccinating enough. You naughty, naughty Australians. In the past six months, only 6.6% of adults have received a Covid vaccine, according to recent federal figures, despite the vaccines being “free,” i.e., already paid for with your taxes.

Source:  Daily Mail

Crisis response: Our protagonist takes action to meet the threat head-on. After all, the government has product to shift, so the vaccine advertorial must keep pumping.

Health Minister Mark Butler bravely does the media rounds, imploring anyone who can get a booster to “have a serious think” about following through.

Source: news.com.au

Hero falters: Unfortunately for Butler, boosters aren’t recommended for many cohorts in Australia anymore, because the risk-benefit profile is not favourable for most people.

Current Australian guidelines suggest adults aged over 75 should get a booster every six months, while those aged between 65 and 74, along with severely immunocompromised adults over 18 years of age, should get one every year. Outside of this, boosters are not recommended but are available to all Australian adults and to children who are severely immunocompromised.

Plot twist: Experts admit that the reason everyone needs another booster is that vaccinating against a fast-mutating coronavirus doesn’t work super well.

“The virus gradually evolves so that some of its proteins are a little bit different so that it can avoid the antibodies that we’ve now got present at population level,” says one.

“In this case, we’ve got mutations in the spike protein that seems to be making it easier for this virus to attach to our cells and it seems to be making this virus evade our antibodies better,“ says another.

Flashback montage: Every expert who warned of immune imprintingimmune suppressionimmune tolerance, the role of vaccines in driving new variantsvaccine-associated enhanced disease (VAEDs), and the general futility of vaccinating against respiratory viruses.

Slow roll a peer-reviewed article co-authored by Dr Anthony Fauci concluding that, “Durably protective vaccines against non-systemic mucosal respiratory viruses with high mortality rates have thus far eluded vaccine development efforts.”

Comic relief: Like the good lackeys they are, media outlets are beating up the BREAKING new variant story, to which the general public response has been LMAO.

An online Murdoch media poll indicates three-quarters of their readers just aren’t interested.

Denouement: Collective apathy. The failure of this latest scare campaign is unlikely to preclude a thirteenth scare campaign, as the government is generally unresponsive to market feedback, and it has mRNA investments and purchase commitments driving its decision-making.

Trump’s Disbanding of a Secret “Deep State” Working Group Raises Hopes of Peace with Russia

By Andrew Korybko

Its inter-agency members sought to sabotage the Russian-US rapprochement.

Reuters reported in mid-June that the Trump Administration had recently disbanded a secret inter-agency working group overseen by now-dismissed National Security Council members tasked with formulating strategies for coercing Russia into concessions to Ukraine. According to their three unnamed US official sources, Trump’s hitherto refusal to escalate American involvement in the conflict led to this initiative losing steam, though he could still potentially reverse gears in the future.

At any rate, what’s most significant about Reuters’ report is that it confirms that a secret group of officials from the US’ permanent military, intelligence, and diplomatic bureaucracies (“deep state”) was set up to manipulate Trump into pressuring Russia, which could have worsened tensions had it succeeded. Just as significantly, however, was its failure to do so thus far. Nevertheless, the plans that they devised could still be implemented by subversive deep state elements and therein lies the problem.

According to Reuters, “Ideas ranged from tailored economic deals designed to peel some countries out of Russia’s geopolitical orbit to covert special operations efforts”, the first scenario of which included a proposal to “incentivize” Kazakhstan into cracking down on Russia’s evasion of Western sanctions. That country has been drifting Westward for some time already, which could pose challenges for Russia and China as explained here in summer 2023, but it doesn’t appear that anything came from that scheme.

The second scenario, however, might have speculatively been connected to Ukraine’s strategic drone strikes against Russia in early June. No one can say for certain whether or not Trump knew about this in advance, but Reuters’ revelation about the existence of this previously unreported “deep state” working group lends credence to those of his supporters who claimed that he didn’t. After all, it’s entirely possible that this was orchestrated by them without his knowledge, which he might have told Putin.

There’s also the possibility that these “covert special operations efforts” included the two false flag plots in the Baltic Sea that Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service recently warned about. Although they claimed that these are joint British-Ukrainian efforts, it can’t be ruled out that the aforementioned subversive “deep state” elements within that working group could have either played a role in their planning and/or might have had a detailed plan ready for pressuring Trump into escalating against Russia afterwards.

This secret “deep state” inter-agency working group’s disbandment therefore raises hopes of peace with Russia and might partially account for the Trump Administration’s latest pragmatism towards it.

The Secretary of Defense recently announced that aid for Ukraine will be slashed in the next budget while the Secretary of the Treasury warned against new anti-Russian sanctions. Trump then opposed more such sanctions at the G7, blocked efforts to lower the Russian oil price cap, and stood up Zelensky.

While it’s premature to celebrate the preceding moves since Trump could always flip-flop on his own or be manipulated into escalating, they’re nevertheless positive developments for peace. It remains to be seen whether he’ll stay the course, but what’s important is that he’s back to his pragmatic approach that was briefly disrupted by a period of angry posts about Putin. The best-case scenario is that he proudly defies the “deep state” by finally coercing Ukraine into Russia’s demanded concessions for peace.

Oxfam: World’s richest 1% could end poverty 22 times

RT

The richest 1% of the people on Earth have gained over $33.9 trillion in real terms since 2015, according to a new report by UK-based anti-poverty group Oxfam.

The amount is enough to end extreme poverty 22 times over, based on the World Bank’s highest income threshold of $8.30 per person per day.

Approximately 3,000 billionaires worldwide have collectively increased their wealth by $6.5 trillion over the past decade, bringing their total net worth to 14.6% of global GDP, the report claims.

Oxfam argues that while personal wealth has skyrocketed, efforts to reduce poverty have significantly stalled.

According to the report, wealthy nations are making the steepest cuts to life-saving development assistance since 1960.

Oxfam projects that G7 countries, responsible for approximately 75% of all official aid, will reduce their contributions by 28% in 2026 compared to 2024. The UK alone is expected to decrease its spending on aid by 40% by 2027

The report also highlights the growing gap between private and public wealth. From 1995 to 2023, global private wealth soared by $342 trillion, while public wealth in the same period rose by only $44 trillion.

Over half of the world’s poorest countries are now on the brink of a debt crisis, the report warns. Many are being forced to spend more on servicing debt than on healthcare or education.

The report singles out private creditors, who hold over half of the external debt of low-income countries, for refusing to restructure loans and imposing punitive repayment terms.

According to a global public opinion survey cited by Oxfam, 90% of respondents support taxing the super-rich to fund public services and climate action.

Times of Israel

US President Donald Trump demands the Israeli justice system drop its corruption case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“I was shocked to hear that the State of Israel, which has just had one of its Greatest Moments in History, and is strongly led by Bibi Netanyahu, is continuing its ridiculous Witch Hunt against their Great War Time Prime Minister!” Trump writes in a lengthy post on Truth Social.

Trump calls the corruption probe a “politically motivated case.”

“Bibi Netanyahu’s trial should be CANCELLED, IMMEDIATELY, or a Pardon given to a Great Hero, who has done so much for the State,” Trump says.

“It was the United States of America that saved Israel, and now it is going to be the United States of America that saves Bibi Netanyahu. THIS TRAVESTY OF ‘JUSTICE’ CAN NOT BE ALLOWED!” he says.

Trump writes that he “just learned that Bibi has been summoned to Court on Monday.” It’s unclear what hearing he is referring to; Netanyahu’s cross-examination, which began earlier this month, is due to resume after the courts went on emergency footing amid the war with Iran, with only urgent proceedings taking place.

Bezos trying to cash in on Musk-Trump falling out

RT

The billionaire reportedly met the president at least twice in June with the aim of securing more government contracts for his space company, Blue Origin

US billionaire Jeff Bezos is seeking to secure more government contracts for his space company, Blue Origin, in an effort to capitalize on the feud between US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Bezos reportedly met the US president at least twice in June, while the space technology company’s CEO, Dave Limp, visited the White House to hold talks with Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles.

The reported efforts come shortly after a dramatic public rift earlier this month between Musk and Trump over the president’s tax and spending bill. The spat escalated into an exchange of jabs on social media.

Bezos’s Blue Origin and Musk’s SpaceX have been competing with each other for years, the newspaper noted, emphasizing that SpaceX pulled far ahead after it began launching rockets at a record pace and became the main contractor for NASA.

Earlier this year, SpaceX secured a major $5.9 billion deal with the US Space Force for 28 flights planned for the years ahead. Another provider, United Launch Alliance, was awarded a $5.3 billion contract for 19 missions, while Blue Origin received $2.4 billion for seven launches.

According to the WSJ, Trump and Bezos discussed the president’s desire to see a crewed mission to the Moon during his term in office. Sources also told the paper that the businessman even invited Trump to his wedding this weekend in Venice. Trump reportedly declined due to scheduling conflicts.

The dispute between Musk and Trump, who were once close allies, occurred after former stepped down as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk repeatedly criticized Trump’s tax and spending bill, arguing that it undermined his efforts to cut waste from the federal budget.

Musk accused Trump of “ingratitude,” while backing calls for his impeachment and threatening to hamstring the US space program by grounding the Dragon spacecraft. Trump fired back, saying Musk had “gone crazy” and blamed the spat on the end of the EV mandate – a reference to federal incentives that had benefited Tesla. Musk responded with a now-deleted post that linked Trump to deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Niger Nationalizes Uranium

Niger to nationalize uranium to wrest control over its resource from France General Abdourahamane Tchiani. Photo: X

Pavan Kulkarni

Accusing French state-owned Orano of illegally extracting a disproportionate share of Uranium, Niger’s government said that nationalization will make way for “optimal enjoyment of the wealth from mining resources by Nigeriens.”

In yet another assertion of sovereignty, the government of Niger announced on Thursday, June 19, that it would nationalize the Somaïr uranium venture, wresting control from the multinational nuclear fuel cycle corporation Orano.

Orano is owned by the French state, which, the government noted, has been “openly hostile toward Niger since July 26, 2023”, when the then president Mohamed Bazoum, domestically perceived as a French puppet, was ousted in a popularly supported coup.

Without yielding to French threats of war, the military government replacing Bazoum’s regime consolidated widespread support by expelling French troops, fulfilling the demand for which mass protests had been underway in the lead-up to his removal.

The nationalization of Somaïr is yet another measure in defiance of its former colonizer. France has long exerted a monopoly over Niger’s uranium, which is among the highest grade in Africa. It has been fueling French nuclear power plants, lighting up a third of its light bulbs, while over 85% of Nigeriens lacked connection to the electricity grid.

Accusing Orano of “irresponsible, illegal, and unfair behavior”, the government said that between 1971 and 2024, it had taken over 86% of Somaïr’s uranium. This is disproportionately higher than the 63% stake it owned, leaving Niger’s state-owned Sopamin as a minority stakeholder in Somaïr.

The nationalization changing this neo-colonial arrangement “will allow for healthier and more sustainable management of the company and, consequently, optimal enjoyment of the wealth from mining resources by Nigeriens,” its statement added.

Threatening Niger with “legal actions, including criminal proceedings if necessary”, Orano said it “intends to seek full compensation for the damages suffered and will assert its rights to the stock corresponding to Somaïr’s production to date.”

US intelligence contradicts Trump, says Iran’s nuclear sites intact after attacks

Satellite image of Fordow nuclear site in central Iran, near the city of Qom. (Maxar Tech)

Press TV

A preliminary US intelligence assessment suggests that the American airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities failed to dismantle the core elements of its nuclear program, contradicting the claims made by President Donald Trump and his aides.

The findings, compiled by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Pentagon’s primary intelligence unit, were shared with CNN by four sources familiar with the matter.

The assessment report is based on a battle evaluation conducted by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in the aftermath of Sunday morning aggression, according to one of the sources quoted by the American broadcaster.

The findings contradict Trump’s repeated assertions that the attacks “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s uranium enrichment capabilities, the report states.

US Defense Secretary also echoed the claims of Trump on Sunday, saying that Iran’s nuclear ambitions “have been obliterated.”

Citing two sources familiar with the DIA assessment, CNN reported that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile remains intact, with one of them noting that the centrifuges targeted in the attacks suffered little damage.

“So the [DIA] assessment is that the US set them back maybe a few months, tops,” the source said.

The White House has acknowledged the intelligence assessment but rejected its conclusions in order to avoid further embarrassment for Trump, who made hue and cry about the attacks that experts say are in complete breach of international law.

“The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean President Trump and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program. Everyone knows what happens when you drop fourteen 30,000-pound bombs perfectly on their targets: total obliteration,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement in response to the assessment.

In the days leading up to the US aggression, Israel had already been carrying out its own acts of aggression against Iran, which saw stiff resistance from Iranian armed forces.

They also firmly responded to American attacks on nuclear sites with devastating missile strikes on the US-run Al-Udeid military base in Qatar on Monday, which prompted the US president to call it quits, leaving the regime with no option but to seek a ceasefire.

US B-2 bombers, according to CNN, deployed more than a dozen of these bombs on two major targets – the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant and the Natanz Enrichment Complex – yet the attacks failed to fully destroy the sites’ centrifuges and enriched uranium.

Damage across all three targeted facilities, Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, was primarily limited to aboveground structures, including power systems and facilities used in converting uranium to weapons-grade metal, the CNN cited sources as saying.

Jeffrey Lewis, a nuclear weapons expert at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies,  told CNN that commercial satellite imagery of the nuclear sites supports the assessment that Iran’s program remains largely intact.

“The ceasefire came without either Israel or the United States being able to destroy several key underground nuclear facilities, including near Natanz, Isfahan, and Parchin,” Lewis said.

“These facilities could serve as the basis for the rapid reconstitution of Iran’s nuclear program,” he added.

The scheduled classified briefings for both chambers of Congress on the operation were abruptly canceled on Tuesday, and the Senate’s all-member briefing has been rescheduled for Thursday, CNN reported.

Iranian officials have also dismissed the speculation about the “obliteration” of Iran’s indigenous nuclear enrichment program due to American aggression and vowed to continue.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), in remarks on Tuesday, reiterated that the country’s nuclear program will continue to expand despite acts of aggression against the peaceful nuclear facilities.

He said the country’s nuclear industry is deeply entrenched in the scientific and technological infrastructure and cannot be dismantled by enemies.

“They must understand that this industry is rooted in our nation. They cannot uproot it,” Kamalvandi said. “Given the capabilities and potential we possess, the growth of this industry must continue. It will not be stopped.”

Iran’s deputy FM demands reparations from US over attacks on nuclear sites

Saeed Khatibzadeh, the Iranian deputy foreign minister. (File photo)

Press TV

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh says the United States must pay millions of dollars in reparations to the Islamic Republic over its blatant act of aggression against civilian nuclear sites, which it carried out jointly with the usurping Israeli regime.

Speaking to the al-Mayadeen television news channel on Wednesday, Khatibzadeh said that Washington must compensate for the losses incurred upon Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, adding that Tehran will file complaints with the United Nations in strong condemnation of the bombardment of its scientific and technical installations.

The senior diplomat and former ministry spokesperson said the United States was the party conveying messages that it was seeking an end to the war, noting that Iran launched a powerful missile strike against the US military’s al-Udeid airbase near the Qatari capital Doha on Monday evening in retaliation for Washington’s strikes on the Iranian nuclear sites.

Khatibzadeh commended Iran as a great civilization that cannot be eliminated, advising US President Donald Trump to realize the incontrovertible fact.

The Iranian diplomat highlighted that the Islamic Republic is determined to continue resistance, adding that the Israeli entity has received “a major stinging blow.”

“Iran, a powerful and resilient country, stood firm in the face of the Israeli aggression,” he said, adding that Israeli settlers have fallen victim to the strategic blunders of their prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Khatibzadeh warned that any further acts of aggression against Iran will draw a crushing response, saying the country’s armed forces are “prepared to respond to any attack.”

He also took a swipe at the chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi, saying he must be held to account for his conduct as he “played a regrettable role” in paving the way for the Israeli regime’s war of aggression against Iran.

Khatibzadeh noted that Iran has explicitly declared that US-Israeli attacks undermined the very essence of diplomacy, stressing, “Iran does not trust a negotiator who plotted against it.”

The Iranian deputy foreign minister stressed that what was not achieved through aggression cannot be obtained by means of diplomacy.

Khatibzadeh also touched on the Zionist regime’s frequent violations of ceasefire agreements with other parties, including Gaza and Lebanon.

“Over the last year and a half, it has been noted that Zionists have not fulfilled any of their commitments in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. Therefore, Iran will remain fully alert and ready and will respond to any act of aggression with its full power at any time and place,” the Iranian diplomat stressed.

In response to a question about the clauses of the ceasefire with Israel, Khatibzadeh said Tehran announced through exchange of indirect messages that it will not engage in nuclear negotiations with Washington unless Israeli attacks stop, and the occupying Tel Aviv regime accepts responsibility for them.

“We did not have any written agreement with the Zionist regime that contains any clauses. What happened is the cessation of aggression by Zionists. Iran, in return, while standing prepared, will not carry out any more attacks,” the Iranian deputy foreign minister noted.

Israel waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13, carrying out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and many ordinary citizens.

The Iranian armed forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III.

Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi said on Tuesday that the official statistics show 606 Iranian people have been martyred in the Tel Aviv regime’s aggression since June 13.

He noted that a total of 5,332 people have been injured across Iran as well.

Both Iran and US Declare Victory in 12-Day War

by Brian Shilhavy
Editor, Health Impact News

For the first day in almost two weeks, the bombing has stopped in Israel and Iran, as both sides have apparently agreed to a ceasefire. Israel had to be publicly chastised by President Trump to completely stop the bombing, for now.

Shortly after Iran bombed the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East in Qatar, Trump announced that he had brokered a ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran.

Iran is still denying this today, but they did say that if Israel stopped bombing them, they would stop responding with their own missiles.

But they claim there is no agreement, and that they will continue developing their own uranium-based nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, stating once again that the U.S. bombing over the weekend did nothing to destroy their nuclear energy resources.

Israel, however, is defiant in claiming that they completely destroyed their nuclear program. The Times of Israel:

Netanyahu claims ‘historic victory,’ says ‘we sent Iran’s nuclear program down the drain’

The Trump team is hunkering down and claiming the same thing.

However, CNN published an “exclusive” report today from an alleged leaked Pentagon study that says otherwise, and pretty much every other corporate media news outlet has covered this report.

Exclusive: Early US intel assessment suggests strikes on Iran did not destroy nuclear sites, sources say

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.

The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

The analysis of the damage to the sites and the impact of the strikes on Iran’s nuclear ambitions is ongoing, and could change as more intelligence becomes available. But the early findings are at odds with President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that the strikes “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth also said on Sunday that Iran’s nuclear ambitions “have been obliterated.”

Two of the people familiar with the assessment said Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium was not destroyed. One of the people said the centrifuges are largely “intact.”

“So the (DIA) assessment is that the US set them back maybe a few months, tops,” this person added.

The White House acknowledged the existence of the assessment but said they disagreed with it. (Full article.)

The whole rationale that seems to be given by the Zionists today as to why they are not continuing to bomb Iran is that they accomplished their purpose to destroy Iran’s nuclear program, so this is obviously a big issue.

Here is the Iranian position as to why the Zionists stopped the bombing:

Iran says powerful military response forced Israel to halt aggression unilaterally

Iran’s top security body says the powerful Iranian military response as part of True Promise III forced the Israeli regime to halt its aggression unilaterally.

The Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has said the Israeli regime was forced to unilaterally end its aggression against the Islamic Republic following a determined and powerful response from the Iranian armed forces.

In a statement on Tuesday, hours after the regime halted its aggression after 12 days as part of an agreement between Tel Aviv and Washington, the top Iranian security body lauded the country’s security forces for demonstrating “exemplary courage” in the face of Israeli hostilities.

“In response to the Zionist enemy’s aggression, your brave and self-sacrificing children in the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran heeded the command of the Leader and Commander-in-Chief (Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei) and responded with exemplary courage to every act of hostility,” it said.

The statement came after Israel confirmed halt of its aggression, initially announced by US President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning. Tehran has not officially confirmed the truce, but Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said last night that Tehran would halt its retaliatory attacks “provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people.”

The SNSC pointed out that the recent operations by the Iranian armed forces targeted both the US-run Al-Udeid air base in Qatar and the entire occupied territories with missile strikes.

It described the outcome as a “divine gift” in return for the nation’s insight, the armed forces’ resolve, and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s, wise guidance, resulting in the enemy’s regret, defeat, and unilateral cessation of hostilities.

It further affirmed that Iran’s armed forces remain on high alert, “ready to deliver a firm and regret-inducing response to any new act of aggression.” (Full article.)

As I have been reporting recently, the Israeli society has been quickly collapsing as everyone was forced to live in shelters and almost nobody was going to work, with schools and airports shut down.

Even before this ceasefire began, as I reported yesterday, Israel had reached out to Iran to inform them that they planned to stop the war this week. They knew that this had to end, and could not continue because their entire economy and infrastructure were collapsing.

After the ceasefire took affect, Israel lifted all restrictions and opened the country back up again. From The Times of Israel:

Home Front Command lifts all restrictions on gatherings, school and work places

The IDF Home Front Command has lifted all restrictions on gatherings, schools, and workplaces, as the ceasefire with Iran appears to hold.

The move comes following a fresh assessment.

There will be no restrictions on gatherings in most areas of the country, workplaces can open, and schools may resume, Home Front Command says. (Source.)

As I have reported, the Iranian culture never shut down. Here is a short video interviewing people in Iran asking why they were going about in public as if everything was normal.

The Zionists Clearly Lost Because they wanted Regime Change

The claim that Iran was close to having a nuclear bomb ready and that therefore they needed to be attacked has been thoroughly debunked by many people, even people in Trump’s own administration.

The real reason the Zionists decided to attack Iran was because they were hoping the Iranian people would turn against their government and endorse a regime change to Reza Pahlavi, the Crown Prince of Iran in exile and son of the late Shah, who is also a Zionist and close friend to Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, almost the exact opposite happened, as the unprovoked attacks on Iran united their society together like nothing else ever could have. They totally underestimated the Iranian people.

Israel and the U.S. hoped that they could cripple Iran through espionage and terrorism by initially lying to them about negotiations while they gathered intelligence to quickly assassinate their top military commanders.

It didn’t work, and within 12 days it was apparent that they were NOT going to defeat Iran militarily, as Iran stated they could go on for two more years, while Israeli society collapsed from the return bombing. Tel Aviv is now in shambles, as a result.

In Iran, they are rounding up members of Mossad and executing them. See:

Mossad-affiliated network dismantled in Iran amid imposed war; a spy executedWho are the Winners and Who are the Losers?

This was clearly not just a win for the Iranian people and those who oppose Israel, but it was also a huge win for China and Russia, who are heavily invested in Iran with their rich mineral resources and strategic positioning for trade among the BRICs countries.

They now know that they can depend upon Iran to fight back against Zionist expansionism and will be a worthy proxy state that I am sure they will now help become even stronger.

Look for the “let’s make a deal” U.S. President to try and broker some kind of deal now with Iran to salvage whatever he can. Saudi Arabia is talking to Iran today, trying to convince Iran to make some kind of deal.

But Iran is firmly in the driver’s seat now, because they took everything Israel and the U.S. could throw at them militarily, and they are still standing.

Iran’s strategic bombing of the U.S. base in Qatar also accomplished something that no one in the Western media is reporting. It exposed which Muslim nations in the region bow to the U.S. because of military contracts they have with the U.S.

These are the countries in the Middle East that condemned Iran’s attack on the U.S. base in Qatar yesterday according to Pravda:

Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait condemned Iran’s “unprovoked” attack on the American base in Qatar. (Source.)

These countries knew full well that they themselves were not being threatened by Iran, but they condemned them anyway for attacking U.S. bases.

This shows clearly which countries are controlled by the Zionists. Since the U.S. had advance warning on this attack, I imagine that they called the leaders of each of these countries and warned them that if they did not condemn these attacks, they would not protect them when Iran starts bombing the military presence in their countries, and that the U.S. might even cancel their military contracts and pull all their troops out, which would be devastating to their economy.

So now we can see why these countries play lip service to Palestinian cause, but do nothing to relieve the plight of the Palestinians who are being massacred in genocide.

Welcome to the emerging New World Order. Round one goes to BRICs.

The Complete History of Written Language, Paper and Printing

Mark Kurlansky | Lapham's QuarterlyPaper: Paging Through History

Mark Kurlanky (2017)

Norton and Company

Book Review

This book provides a comprehensive survey of the development of paper and written language, starting with its earliest use in Sumeria in 3300 BC. Kurlanksky also traces the essential role of printing in the blossoming of science, art, and revolutionary religious and political movements.

Following its first development in Sumeria, written language seems to have developed independently in Egypt in 3000 BC, Crete and Greece in 1400 BC, China 1200 BC, Zaptote Mexico 600 BC, the Mayan empire 250 BC and Scandinavia (runes) 200 BC.

The Sumerians first wrote on stone and clay, the Egyptians on papyrus and the Chinese on wood tablets, bamboo scrolls, silk and eventually paper.

The Chinese, the first to invent paper, were inspired by wool felting technology, which preceded spinning. In felting, wool is repeatedly hammered into a fibrous mat. The Chinese, who also invented paper cups and toilet paper, initially used bark, hemp, rags and fishing nets to make paper.

After the Arab victory at the 751 AD Battle of Talas (see See Taizong and the Rise of the Tang), the Arab commander a took Chinese paper maker prisoner, who set up paper mills in Baghdad and Damascus in 800, The first paper mill in Cairo was built in 900. The Islamic Empire was the world’s fully literate society (ie extending literacy to commoners), Europeans only began making paper after 1000 AD, when their contact with Islamic scholars versed in classical science, math, medicine and philosophy led to a growing drive for increased literacy. By the 14th century, paper making was a common industrial activity throughout Europe.

Printing (of wood blocks and prints) also began in China in the late 7th century. Koreans printed the first book in 700 and invented moveable type in 1444. Johannes Guttenberg, a German goldsmith, also began experimenting with moveable type in the 1440s. By the 16h century, all of Europe, now the most advanced civilization in the world, was paper mad. In 1605 Cervantes published Don Quixote, which became the most sold book in publishing history.

According to Kurlansky, it was paper and printing of pamphlets, posters and religious tracts that made the Protestant Reformation possible. Luther and Calvin printed thousands of religious tract to prospective follower. Henry VIII’s chief minister Thomas Cromwell published similar anti-papist tracks to promote England’s separation from the Catholic Church.

Ben Franklin, a printer by trade and a prominent propagandist for American independence, started many newspapers. In addition to owning 18 paper mills, he also ran a business sourcing rags for paper pulp. In their desire to build and maintain colonists’ support for the War of Independence, the Continental Congress exempted paper workers from military service. It was essential to keep the paper mills running. ce.

In 1840, a chronic shortage of rags led German paper workers to produce the first wood pulp paper. American’s abundance of old growth forest allowed the new country to overtake Europe as the world’s primary paper maker by 1873.
