House GOP demands answers on CDC’s database on Americans who didn’t take shots

House Republicans sent a letter Tuesday to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, demanding answers about a new classification system that allows the CDC to record the reasons why Americans refused to take one of the COVID-19 vaccines.
“Naturally, we are concerned about the federal government gathering data on Americans’ personal choices—data that serves no sincere purpose in treating patients’ medical conditions—and how it may be used in the future,” the Republican lawmakers, led by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, wrote.
The House Republicans raised the alarm about the CDC’s recently codified International Classification of Disease, or ICD, codes related to COVID-19 vaccination status, which are scheduled to take effect April 1. The codes enable the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to collect data on the reasons Americans refuse to take the vaccines.

With half the country now questioning the shots, the propagandists surely have their work cut out for them. Perhaps some of them are realizing it’s now a losing battle and they need an escape plan, a new narrative to salvage what little public trust is left.

Back in early November 2022, The Atlantic published an article by Brown University economist Emily Oster,2 who suggested COVID dictators be granted “amnesty” for their mistaken beliefs about COVID-19. “We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID,” she wrote. Her arguments were so ill-conceived, most of those who read it answered with colorful variations of “Not a chance.”

But while Carlson and a majority of Bass’ Twitter followers applauded his “honesty,” many scientists and doctors who have been defamed, censored and fired for speaking truth right from the start are none too impressed.

I believe the goal of [Bass’] piece is to test out soundbites that could be used to address the major issues that the medical establishment has created for itself as a result of how it handled COVID-19 …
Because of how much things have changed in the last three months, we are now in the position to ask for a lot more than before, which is why a much more candid apology is being given. However, since there is a lot more nuance here than in Oster’s (as this one attempts to be more persuasive), I felt compelled to place Oster 2.0 under a microscope.”
The Substack author then goes on to list a series of screenshots from Bass’ article with commentary in red. To start off, in saying “I was wrong. We in the scientific community were wrong. And it cost lives,” Bass explicitly gave Oster’s critics what they asked for. A direct admission that they were wrong.
He also addressed a central objection to Oster’s non-apology by stating that “All of these were scientific mistakes at the time, not in hindsight.” In sharp contrast, Oster argued that COVID tyrants ought to be forgiven because they didn’t know any better; at the time, nobody knew what was best and everyone was basically just guessing. This argument was one of the most egregious lies in Oster’s piece, and Bass wisely avoids making the same mistake.

‘Bomb Train’ in Ohio Sickens Residents After Railroad Cutbacks, Corporate Greed Led to Toxic Disaster

By Democracy Now!Fears of a wider health and environmental disaster are growing, after a 150-car freight train operated by Norfolk Southern derailed and a so-called controlled burn released toxic chemicals last week in East Palestine, Ohio.
Residents reported seeing a fireball and mushroom cloud of smoke fill the skyline. Data released by the Environmental Protection Agency shows the train contained more toxic and carcinogenic chemicals than initially reported, including phosgene, a poisonous gas that has been used as a chemical weapon in war.
Officials lifted an evacuation order for residents last Wednesday, saying the air and water were safe, but residents have reported sore throats, burning eyes and respiratory problems, and wildlife has been found dead.
Meanwhile, scrutiny has turned onto Norfolk Southern, which in recent years has challenged regulatory laws aimed at making the rail industry safer and made mass cuts to railroad staffing while spending billions on stock buybacks and executive compensation.

On Monday, ten days after the initial train crash, the EPA revealed three more chemicals were discovered in addition to vinyl chloride: ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylhexyl acrylate and isobutylene – each of them carrying their own potential health hazards.
It remains to be seen whether anyone will be held accountable for the scores of health issues that are sure to follow as a result of the area being contaminated with the deluge of hazardous materials.
Tanker Rates To Haul Gasoline Soar 400% After Russian Sanctions

Clean product tanker rates soared last week after the European Union and G-7 nations targeted Russia’s petroleum sales. Restrictions on Russian crude exports began in early December. The sanctions have been a ploy by Western countries to limit Russian crude and crude product exports, though it’s definitely not working.
Sanctions have redirected Russian energy flows from Europe to Asia. The rejiggering of supply chains means Russia has to rely more on tankers. According to Bloomberg, this has led to a 400% surge in the daily rates for clean product tankers.
The latest data from the Baltic Exchange in London shows clean product tankers rates have reached $55,857 per day, surging 58% just last Thursday.
According to trading giant Trafigura, Russia relies on a “shadow fleet” of tankers to move crude and crude products. The trading firm said the fleet is about 600 ships.
Bloomberg said the surge in tanker rates has been “spurred in part by a bifurcation of the fleet with some tankers serving Moscow’s interests and others the international market. It highlights a possible flipside of aggressive measures aimed at limiting Russia’s petroleum revenues.”
“Russian volumes continue to flow at more or less the same rate and that takes up a lot of ships.”
“Ultimately, the spike shows demand is pretty good, and the fundamentals are strong,” Lars Bastian Ostereng, an analyst at Arctic Securities.
About 400 tankers, or 20% of the global fleet, recently “switched” from hauling fuels for traditional countries to carrying Russian petroleum products, Trafigura’s co-head of oil trading Ben Luckock said in a recent Bloomberg interview. That has reduced the number of tankers for traditional routes and is leading to the skyrocketing cost of freight.
Bloomberg pointed out that surging rates aren’t entirely because of the tanker “switch.” It’s also due to more crude flowing by water following Western sanctions on Russia. Much of those energy exports are now being sent to Asia.
“We see no indication that Russia will have to cut back its exports of crude or refined products,” said David Wech, chief economist of Vortexa, during a presentation late last week.
Furthermore, crude prices have edged over $86 a barrel following last Friday’s announcement that Russia will reduce crude oil production by 500,000 barrels per day. This is in response to Western price caps on purchasing Russian fuel.

The first evidence of human habitation in North America was discovered in Fison, New Mexico in 1908. At least 10,000 years old, the site provides the first evidence of humans hunting (with darts) and butchering Bison antiquus. Archeologists refer to this period of pre-history as the Paleoindian or Lithic period.
In 1932, the first Clovis points (a type of projectile point) were discovered near Blackwater Draw, New Mexico, along with charred bones of Bison antiquus, camels, sabre tooth cats and mega fauna wolves in layers. Dating from 13,000 to 10,000 years ago, most Clovis points measured 1-6 inches long. All had a flute (indentation) on both sides where it attached to the dart.
Clovis man used atlatls or dart throwers to increase the velocity of their darts. The dart slipped from the atlatl as the hunter threw his arm forward. Clovis man mainly hunted mammoths and mastodons in coordinated groups.
Clovis points, made by chipping churt (aka flint), obsidian or quartz, were difficult to make and required great skill. They have been found in roughly 1500 locations throughout North America, most dating from 13,300 and 12,700 years ago. Most sites are concentrated in the East/Central US, with the oldest in Teas and northern Mexico. There are a few Clovis sites in Venezuela, but most are north of Central America. Thus far, no Clovis site have been found in Alaska or Siberia.
Chipped Solutrian* knives (indicated by the absence of flutes) are similar but wider than Clovis points.
The turtle seems to have been the most common prey hunted by Clovis man, with only 14 sites associated with mammoth bones. Other tools found with Clovis points include skin scrapers, choppers, axes, knives, needles and dart shaft straighteners. They are made of bone, horn and antler, as well as stone.
About half of North American Clovis points were found at Gault, a huge (as large as six football fields) multigenerational campsite in Florence Texas. Located near a spring and naturally occurring chert, Gault shows clear evidence of a sedentary lifestyle linked to megafauna migration. Other Gault artifacts include scrapers, axes, carving and plant processing tools and stones incised with geometric shapes.
Clovis culture became extinct when the mammoth did, most likely from climate changed that transformed its grassland habitat into forest. Our most recent mammoth remains date from 1700 BC on an island off the coast of Siberia.
Human population increased as the grasslands receded. Other extinctions that occurred during this transition were those of North American camels, tiny horses, giant ground sloths and armadillos and the sabre tooth tiger.
After Clovis culture collapsed, its survivors created Folsom Culture 11,000 – 10,000 BP (Before Present). Folsom man was restricted to the Great Plans between Canada and Texas where the Bison antiquus roamed. Folsom points were shorter and thinner and their flute extended the entire length of the blade. Only about 2,000 have been found in a much more limited area.
Folsom man developed the new hunting technique known as bison jumps (still in use when Europeans arrived). In a bison jump, a group of hunters would create a bison stampede and drive them off a cliff.
As many as 100-300 animals have been found at the bottom of cliffs in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
The main Folsom site (near Folsom, New Mexico) was a multigenerational camp where archeologists have found choppers and scrapers, as well as Folsom points and evidence of body painting with red hematite and ochre.
Folsom culture collapsed when Bison antiquus became extinct 10,000 years ago.

Lula Imposes COVID Vaccine Mandate for Children to Receive Gov’t Benefits

Lula made the declaration during the inauguration of the ophthalmology and diagnostic units of the Super Carioca Health Center in Benfica, Rio de Janeiro.
“The Bolsa Família is coming back, and it is coming back with something important; it is coming back with conditions. The children have to be in school. If they are not in school, the mother loses the benefit,” Lula said, referring to the social welfare program that was canceled under Jair Bolsonaro.
“The children have to be vaccinated. Suppose they don’t have a vaccination certificate. In that case, the mother will lose the benefit.”
Lula says Brazilians can receive financial aid only if they have taken the vax. Bolsa Família will require vax certificates from participants & their children: We can’t play, it’s a question of science. If I have 10 covid vaccines to take, I will take all that is necessary.

Lula said the government vaccine mandate is for the greater good, even if it means citizens take 10 or 50 vaccines.
“For God’s sake, we can’t be ignorant to the point of thinking it’s not worth getting vaccinated,” he said.
“I keep asking myself what kind of love does this mother have for her children, that she doesn’t take care of them at the most important moment when they can be vaccinated and can avoid a more delicate disease in their lives,” Lula continued.
“We can’t hesitate; we can’t play around. It is a question of science,” he said, seemingly ignoring the mountains of evidence the experimental mRNA injection is not only ineffective, but can also lead to a number of adverse neurological and cardiovascular side effects.
“If there are ten COVID vaccines, 50 to take, I will take as many as necessary because I like my life. I think everyone has a duty to their children’s life, take them [to vaccinate] at the right age, that’s why they say the Bolsa Família is coming back,” Lula said.
The announcement marks a major policy reversal since Bolsonaro, who stepped down after a contentious election in November, rejected the COVID vaccine mandate.

Russia Warns Depleted Uranium Will be Considered a Nuclear Weapon
Russia announced it will consider the use of depleted uranium akin to a nuclear attack.
Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Control, said during a plenary meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation,
“We know that Leopard 2 tanks, as well as Bradley and Marder armored fighting vehicles, can use depleted uranium shells, which can contaminate terrain, just like it happened in Yugoslavia and Iraq,” he said. “If Kiev were to be supplied with such munitions for the use in western heavy military hardware, we would regard it as the use of ‘dirty nuclear bombs’ against Russia, with all the consequences that entails.”
The USG and NATO have stocked depleted beryllium and uranium ammunition in Europe. Bradley Fighting Vehicles, according to the CIA’s propaganda conduit, Voice of America, will soon arrive in Ukraine. The M242 gun mounted on the Bradleys uses Depleted Uranium (DU) ammunition. Additionally, the Challenger tanks the UK is sending use 120 mm sabot rounds surrounded by a jacket of DU.
“DU is used throughout Afghanistan and Iraq, mostly in aircraft, tank, and Bradley Fighting Vehicle ammunition,” reports Iraq Veterans Against the War.
During the Iraq invasion, the USG fired DU rounds into civilian neighborhoods. “Coordinates revealing where US jets and tanks fired nearly 10,000 DU rounds in Iraq during the war in 2003 have been obtained by the Dutch peace group Pax,” The Guardian reported in 2014.
According to [the IKV Pax Christi] report, which is due to be published this week, the data shows that many of the DU rounds were fired in or near populated areas of Iraq, including As Samawah, Nasiriyah and Basrah. At least 1,500 rounds were also aimed at troops, the group says.
It should be noted that an attempt to verify this information on the IKV Pax Christi website produces a page warning the site is dangerous and may have been hijacked. In other words, it was decided information about DU poisoning in Iraq and Afghanistan, including serious birth defects, is not something distracted plebs should be allowed to read.
In 2013, the World Health Organization attempted to downplay DU contamination in Iraq. Remarkably, and at odds with ample evidence, the WHO reported findings on spontaneous abortion, stillbirths, and congenital birth defects in Iraq “are consistent with or even lower than international estimates. The study provides no clear evidence to suggest an unusually high rate of congenital birth defects in Iraq.”
It really is amazing webpages posting this information disappear. Instead, I will link to The Guardian’s post on the topic which is, obviously, too controversial for the average citizen of the West. After all, if such information revealing the psychopathy of the USG and its national security state-created “defense” department were readily available, people may oppose, in far larger numbers than now, the USG’s role in Ukraine.
Iraq did not have WMDs, as Bush and his neocons insisted despite a complete lack of evidence, and therefore could not respond effectively to the invasion of its country. This is far from the case with Russia.
Both Gavrilov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, along with Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, have warned that the delivery of long-range missiles to the Zelenskyy regime, as Volodin is quoted as saying by Sputnik International, “will lead to a global disaster and retaliatory measures from Moscow with the use of more powerful weapons.”
Gavrilov stressed Moscow will “undertake harsh retaliatory actions” if the USG persists in delivering long-range missiles and also depleted uranium, which Russia considers on par with a “dirty bomb.”
It is now manifestly apparent the West is eager to attack Russian cities. It will provide top-shelf weapons to accomplish its mission of destroying Russia, killing thousands if not millions of its people, and busting the country into malleable little dictatorships dutifully following neoliberal orders.
Russia will not do this. It remembers, every May 8, the “Great Patriotic War” that defeated the Nazi Wehrmacht as Operation Barbarossa, the largest invasion in history, came to a grinding halt amidst the brutal Russian winter.
The German Generalplan Ost to engage in ethnic cleansing, the genocide of “untermenschen,” and the colonization of Eastern Europe (lebensraum) failed miserably. It is conservatively estimated 26 million Russians died defending their country from Nazis who wanted nothing more than to kill them.
Is it possible the neocons driving this suicidal effort to “weaken” Russia are not capable of understanding that Russia, with its justifiable paranoia of invasion (before Hitler, there was Napoleon), will do everything in its power, as it did during WWII, to prevent what the neolibs and neocons have in mind?
I sincerely believe hubris, narcissism, and “exceptionalism” have warped the minds of people like Victoria Nuland and the despicable Senator Lindsey Graham. Nothing, short of nuclear war and its horrific consequence, will make these people think twice about the stupidity of a short-sighted Generalplan Ost of their own.

“Hunger cliff” looms as 32 states set to slash food-stamp benefits

A “hunger cliff” is looming for millions of Americans, with 32 states set to slash food-stamp benefits beginning in March.
The cuts will impact more than 30 million people who are enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, in those states, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Among the states where recipients are facing cuts are California and Texas, which have the greatest number of people on SNAP, at 5.1 million and 3.6 million recipients, respectively.
The reductions are due to the end of so-called emergency allotments, which bolstered food-stamp benefits at the start of the pandemic as Americans grappled with the massive disruption to the economy. While the U.S. is certainly on more stable footing than in 2020, households are now struggling with high food costs — groceries were about 10% higher in December than a year earlier — making the timing of the SNAP cuts particularly challenging, experts say.
“This hunger cliff is coming to the vast majority of states, and people will on average lose about $82 of SNAP benefits a month,” said Ellen Vollinger, the SNAP director at the Food Research & Action Center, an anti-hunger advocacy group. “That is a stunning number.”
That means a family of four could see their monthly benefit cut by about $328 a month. The worst-hit could be elderly Americans who receive the minimum monthly benefit, Vollinger said. They could see their SNAP payments tumble from $281 to as little as $23 per month.

In a rare win, the World Health Organisation has backed down on proposed International Health Regulation amendments for compulsory vaccination and lockdowns. It is a win yet the pandemic treaty, that would do the same thing again, is still waiting in the wings.

A victory for common sense, decency and humanity.
And a victory against the sprawling monster of unelected, unaccountable foreign bureaucrats at the World Health Organisation.
You will recall the WHO proposed to change their health regulations that guide member states in the event of a disease outbreak, like COVID, from guiding member states to being mandatory on member states, including Australia.
This would have represented a complete destruction of Australian sovereignty, and a fundamental re-imagining of the powers of the World Health Organisation.
Last December the Liberal/National Morrison Government voted in favour of these changes, yet many sensible countries voted against, and the proposal was lost.
Undaunted the World Health Organisation tried again this year.
After months of heavy criticism, One Nation and those opposing these measures have had a big win.
The Final Report from the International Health Regulations Review Committee released this week has dropped the proposed changes.
The World Health Organisation will remain an advisory body.
Dystopian demands, such as allowing the World Health Organisation to make binding health orders overriding state and federal control, have been thrown out.
This includes the proposed powers that would have allowed the WHO to control:
systems for proof-of-vaccination or vaccination status,quarantine procedures,citizen travel & mobility,forced vaccination,lockouts,lockdowns,mandatory detention and,other unacceptable infringements on people.Gone is the universal ‘health passport’ – or vaccine passport – that was going to control the ability of citizens to travel between countries in a permanent capacity.
It was decided that this would raise ‘ethical’ and ‘discriminatory’ concerns. A global digital vaccine passport will no longer be developed under the committee’s powers.
For now.
The committee will remain confined to actual public health emergencies rather than ‘potential health risks’ – removing the widely held fear that their scope could be extended to ‘climate lockdowns’ and other human rights abuses.
Which would have been possible because WHO had proposed to remove human rights from the regulations.
After a backlash the committee now strongly recommends the retention of the existing text, which is quote “full respect for the dignity, human rights, and fundamental freedoms of persons as an overarching principle”.
This is a critical back down.
The WHO committee working on these changes has just recommitted to its fundamental human rights pledge in defiance of the proposed amendments.
The findings of the committee agreed with the concerns that One Nation raised regarding threat to sovereignty.
In their final report, the committee said that it was, quote: “concerned that the proposals may unduly impinge on the sovereignty of state parties” and make recommendations “binding” instead of voluntary.
In the end, the committee validated the fears raised on the international stage and within the free press.
Fears I raised and for which I was called a conspiracy theorist.
I was correct.
Their decision to throw out this attempt to grab power from sovereign governments is a crucial first step in stopping unelected global bureaucracies from overstepping their purpose.
Pauline Hanson first raised the UN’s treasonous work in parliament in 1996. In my first senate speech in 2016 I called for Australia to exit the UN – AusEXIT.
We’ve been so strongly outspoken against ceding Australian sovereignty to the unhinged UN-WEF alliance that the WEF recently specifically called us out.
We’re getting under their skin.
This fight is not over.
All of the terrifying proposed powers that have been summarily rejected this week, are duplicated in the proposed WHO Pandemic Treaty.
The Pandemic Treaty is a second attempt to turn WHO into the world health police.
The Pandemic Treaty is alive and well, sitting in the system waiting for our “leaders” to signed.
If the Pandemic Treaty were to be approved, it would enforce all of the binding health powers that others in WHO have just rejected. What a mess.
The World Health Organisation is too big, too bureaucratic, too removed from the people it is supposed to help, corrupt, incompetent, dishonest and above all else, too close to the Pharmaceutical industry.
The next step to protect Australia’s health sovereignty is to make sure that the Pandemic Treaty is rejected and that the Prime Minister does not sign it.
For concerned Australians who have written to their members of parliament and who received a stock reply saying the treaty has to go through Parliament first – that is actually not true.
The WHO Pandemic Treaty includes a provision that it becomes binding on Australia the moment our WHO representative signs it.
No Parliamentary oversight required.
Screw that.
