Robert F. Kennedy Jr contemplating Democratic challenge to Biden

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering running for president in 2024, challenging President Biden for the Democratic nomination, and he says his wife approves.

“I am thinking about it yes. I have passed the biggest hurdle, that my wife has greenlighted it,” Kennedy told a crowd in New Hampshire on Friday, according to reports.

Kennedy’s wife, actress Cheryl Hines, was reportedly attending the speech at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, which for nearly a quarter-century has been a must stop in the Granite State for potential or actual White House contenders.

Kennedy, the son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy, describes himself as a lifelong Democrat and has faced criticism for his activism against the COVID-19 vaccine.

When asked whether he is considering a run for president, RFK Jr responded, “I am thinking about it. I’ve passed the biggest hurdle which is that my wife has green lighted it.”#NHPolitics

In his speech, he called the Democratic National Committee (DNC) decision to upset the presidential nominating calendar wrong, as it moves New Hampshire’s primary from the first place into the third.

New Hampshire, which prides itself on its well-informed electorate and its emphasis on small-scale and grassroots retail politics, has for a century held the first primary in the race for the White House. While Republicans are making no changes to their presidential nominating calendar in the 2024 election cycle, the DNC last month voted overwhelmingly to approve a new top of the calendar, pushed by Biden, that upends the traditional schedule.

New Hampshire will now vote second in the DNC’s calendar, along with Nevada, three days after South Carolina, under the new schedule.

Ahead of the DNC’s final approval of the schedule, Kennedy wrote an open letter to the committee, urging members to keep New Hampshire in the first spot because of the state’s long history advocating for civil rights and election transparency.

The DNC changed the nominating calendar in an effort to reflect more diversity in the Democratic Party, but Kennedy said that New Hampshire already showcases the diversity in America. As a swing state, Kennedy said, New Hampshire’s “four electoral votes could decide the 2024 election.”

“Most importantly, New Hampshire runs the most secure and transparent election in America. It should be a model for our country at a time when we need it most,” Kennedy wrote.

Granite State Democrats warn that New Hampshire will still go first — courtesy of a longstanding state law that mandates the leadoff primary position — and that a primary not sanctioned by the DNC, where Biden doesn’t take part, could invite trouble for the president.

How New Zealand Dealt with Disinformation

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is spectacular, with Orcs, Elves and breathtaking scenery filmed on location in New Zealand. The special effects were good too – the eye of Sauron looked very realistic – perhaps it is.

We have come across a minimally redacted 28-page draft of a Kiwi Government document entitled “Communications approach to managing disinformation, online harms and scams” dated 10 Dec 2021 (Available here).

The document’s aim appears to be coordinating countering disinformation seeking to harm “by threatening public safety, fracturing community cohesion and reduced trust in democracy.” All well and good then; it’s a bit like saying, do not open fire on the Red Cross.

Except that the object is “disinformation” relating to the Kiwi government’s response to the Covid pandemic. The definition of disinformation in the document is on page 5:

We will not summarise the complex and superficial content of the document other than to note that this is precisely the attempt at normalising the message of the pandemic that we have reported. The government has put out a message, and its credibility must be defended at all costs, with tech media partners, academics, the community and, of course, the armies of Sauron.

One consideration is that the Covid narrative in Middle Earth (as elsewhere) is based on the misuse and misinterpretation of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and the death of clinical medicine, as we have made clear.

Cases may not have been active cases, hospitalisations may not be due to SARS-CoV-2, and deaths may be due to various causes related or unrelated to SARS-CoV-2. We will never know for sure. Why? Because the PCR cycle threshold for testing PCR “positive” in Middle Earth was 40 to 45, ensuring that most tested people would test positive even in the total absence of contamination (a very tall order).

So presenting figures of cases, hospitalisations and deaths based on qualitative PCR results inflates the totals and undermines the confidence in the competence and honesty of public health bodies: it is disinformation.

We make the document available now (see here), and all our readers will find different parts interesting or as scary as the orcs.

So if you think you live in a democracy, one last word of warning: do not go too near the Black Gate. You may think it is fiction, but it’s not.

Landmarks on the Road to Covid Tyranny

Many Americans were appalled at the oppressive decrees issued by politicians and government officials during the Covid pandemic. But there were plenty of post-9/11 precedents that paved the way for recent abuses. Authoritarian Covid policies were shocking but not surprising.

In March and April 2020, politicians justified shutting down schools, businesses, houses of worship and practically everything else in pursuit of Zero Covid. Nineteen years earlier, President George W. Bush promised to “rid the world of evil” after the 9/11 attacks. But it was impossible to rid the world of evil – which has always been the mother’s milk for ambitious demagogues.

Bush also promised to “rid the world of terror” so children can “grow up in a free society, a society without fear.” And until that nirvana was reached, the Bush administration sought to maximize fear in order to minimize opposition to suspending habeas corpus, illegally vacuuming up Americans’ phone and email records, suppressing protests, and unleashing federal agents on domestic dissent.

Promising absolute protection entitled the Bush administration to all the power that it claimed to need. Frightened Americans were convinced that vesting arbitrary authority in federal officials would keep people safe. One of the first fruits of that folly was the Transportation Security Administration, which adapted the motto of “Dominate. Intimidate. Control.” The TSA erected checkpoints at hundreds of airports staffed with tens of thousands of federal agents.

From the start, the TSA was utterly inept, continually failing up to 95 percent of undercover tests to detect mock bombs and weapons. In order to make flying safe, the TSA claims the right to take menstruating women into private rooms to force them to disrobe to show blood. But the TSA’s promise of security absolves its perennial failures – in the same way that Covid mask mandates have been vindicated by vapid appeals about saving children and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

After 9/11, fretful Americans and a docile media defaulted to “Washington logic” on one issue after another. Bush took the nation to war against Iraq based on a childlike syllogism:

Terrorists who attacked America on 9/11 were bad people.Saddam Hussein is a bad person.Therefore, Saddam Hussein was guilty of the 9/11 attacks.

The Bush administration pushed the Saddam-9/11 connection on every possible occasion – though Bush admitted in 2006 that Saddam was not responsible for the attacks. In the same way that Covid policymakers sanctified their decrees with ludicrous forecasts of potential deaths, the Bush administration consecrated its authority by continually issuing terrorist attack alerts that had not even a whiff of credibility. For both Bush and Covid policymakers, fear-mongering razed limits to their sway. As long as enough people can be frightened, then almost everyone can be subjugated.

Similarly, after the start of the Covid lockdowns, policymakers entitled themselves to all the power they claimed to need to compel compliance. In Newark, New Jersey, thousands of people were ticketed, facing six months in prison and a $1,000 fine, for crimes such as “hanging out,” “sitting on milk crate,” “sitting on bench smoking,” “standing outside enjoying the weather,” and “standing without a mask,” as journalist Michael Tracey reported.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti “ordered all residents living in the city ‘to remain in their homes’” and banned all unnecessary “travel, including, without limitation, travel on foot, bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit.” Once vaccines became available, politicians justified lockdowns and mandates to persuade people to get injected so that they could have their freedom again.

Many people have been appalled that few medical experts spoke out to condemn Covid policies that inflicted vast collateral damage on Americans’ lives for no real benefit. But it is naïve to expect courage or wisdom from doctors involved in federal policymaking.

During the Bush administration, medical doctors helped unleash some of the worst human rights abuses committed by the US government in the modern era. Beginning in 2002, the CIA unleashed a torture regime that included waterboarding (simulated drowning), hypothermia, sleep deprivation for up to 7 days and nights, and other brutal methods. The program was designed by psychologists who pocketed millions of dollars for making up a list of techniques designed to shatter the will of detainees. Abusive interrogations were supervised by doctors to protect the government, not the victims. A 2014 Senate Intelligence Committee report revealed how far the Hippocratic Oath had fallen. “After a doctor X-rayed one prisoner’s feet and determined they were badly broken, another physician recommended that he could be made to stand for 52 hours,” Business Insider summarized one case.

And it wasn’t just a few wild-eyed medical misfits who propelled the abuses. A 2015 internal investigation of the American Psychological Association concluded “senior officials of the association had ‘colluded’ with senior Defense Department officials to make certain that the association’s ethics rules did not hinder the ability of psychologists to remain involved with the interrogation program… while several prominent outside psychologists took actions that aided the C.I.A.’s interrogation program and helped protect it from growing dissent inside the agency,” the New York Times reported. Numerous detainees were killed during interrogations and many were permanently injured.

“Truth will out” is Washington’s favorite fairy tale. Eight leading critics of Covid policies recently called for a commission to expose the abuses of federal agencies and policies during the pandemic. Other activists have demanded prosecution of federal officials who deceived the American public. But the torture scandal is a reminder that accountability in Washington is rarer than an honest congressman. None of the torture policymakers were prosecuted, and the only CIA official to be jailed was a whistleblower who exposed waterboarding. The Justice Department has successfully torpedoed every lawsuit from a torture victim. Good luck to the victims of federally-mandated Covid-19 vaccines.

Perilous precedents continued piling up after Bush left the White House. Many Americans expected Barack Obama to set a higher tone and show far more respect for the Constitution. But Obama quickly proclaimed a presidential prerogative to assassinate Americans who he labeled as terrorist suspects. Obama’s lawyers insisted that the president need disclose zero evidence before executing officially-designated bad guys. A Justice Department lawyer declared in court that no federal judge had authority to be “looking over the shoulder” of Obama’s targeted-killing program because it involved “the very core powers of the president as commander-in-chief.”

When Obama campaigned for the presidency in 2008, entitling the president to kill Americans without trial wasn’t one of the reforms he promised. The Obama administration promised to be very careful about who it killed. But Daniel Hale, a former Air Force intelligence analyst, leaked information revealing that nearly 90 percent of people killed in drone strikes were not the intended targets. Biden’s Justice Department is rewarding Hale with a long prison sentence.

Covid policymakers didn’t claim a right to “terminate with extreme prejudice” troublesome Americans – only to destroy their First Amendment freedom of speech. The Biden White House browbeat Twitter into canceling the accounts of Alex Berenson and many other Covid critics. We are still learning how far Team Biden extended its unconstitutional censorship decrees.

Margaret Thatcher and the Birth of the Climate Movement

Film Review

Made in 2007, this film features a number of prominent climate scientists who raise surprisingly cogent arguments against the IPCC “science” on which the global climate movement is based. It also raises legitimate concerns about the politicization of climate science, as well as the tragic effect of climate activism on Third World development.

In the late eighties, Margaret Thatcher was the first prominent politician to raise concerns about global warming (aka climate change) and acid rain. The film suggests Thatcher’s primary motivation was to promote Britain’s nuclear industry, in part due to  deep mistrust of both the miners union and Middle East oil nations. In 1990 she authorized creation of the Hadley Centre for Climate Research and Prediction at the British Meteorological Office. The Hadley Centre would become a key contributor to the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (formed in 1988).

Thanks to the IPCC’s dire predictions linking catastrophic climate change to continued fossil fuel use, by 2007, when this film was made, climate research was already a $4 billion a year business.

The film interviews a number of prominent climate scientists who acknowledge the temperature on Earth is rising but dispute that the warming stems from industrialization and increased CO2 production.

The main scientific arguments they present are

Most of 20th century planetary warming occurred prior to 1940. Global temperatures fell for four decades after World War II (a period of massive industrialization) and only began rising again during the 1970s recession (when CO2 production declined briefly).

2. In the film An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore showed graphs of ice core data linking periods of high CO2 with increase in global temperature. What Gore didn’t mention is that increases in atmospheric CO2 always lagged 500-800 years behind temperature increases (suggesting higher temperatures caused CO2 to increase, rather than vice versa).

3. The theory behind greenhouse warming is that greenhouse gases warm the atmosphere by trapping heat. However data from satellites and weather balloons indicate that temperatures in the troposphere (lowest layer of the atmosphere) are remaining constant despite increases in the Earth’s surface temperature.

4. Astrophysicist Dr Piers Corbyn (Jeremy Corbyn’s brother), who has been using sunspots and solar flaring to make extremely accurate weather predictions since the 1980s, explains in the film how warming and cooling, both in the 20th century and the last 400 years, correlate far more closely with sunspot activity than CO2 levels. In contrast, IPPC computer modeling, on which their dire climate predictions are based, fail to take account of either sunspot activity or atmospheric concentrations of water vapor, which comprises 95% of the Earth’s greenhouse gases.

A common claim made by the IPPC and climate activists is is that their views represent consensus among 2,500 climate scientists. Yet, as the film points out, the public is largely unaware of the ruthlessness with which this consensus in enforced. Any climate scientist brave enough to dispute IPPC findings is systematically vilified by their universities, the media and government agencies and private foundations they rely on for research grants. In fact, there are striking parallels with the systematic vilification doctors experienced when they disputed the official Covid narrative.

The most concerning section of the film features African social justice and public health advocates who call it “morally repugnant” for Western climate activists to use politicized climate predictions to force the most expensive form of power (ie solar or wind) on developing countries where 2 billion people still have no access to electricity. Without access to fossil fuels, Third World countries have no hope of industrializing (eg developing their own railroads and steel factories. In this sense, climate activists are inadvertently colluding with the World Economic Forum and global elites who seek to block Third World development to preserve developing nations as cheap reservoirs of mineral resources for their high tech industries.

Without access to cheap electricity (from coal or gas-fired power plants), roughly (as of 2007) four million Third World children die annually from the effects of indoor smoke (from wood and dung fires), with many of their mothers also dying prematurely.

Top Scientists Find ‘Substantial Scientific Evidence’ EMR Radiation Causes Cancer

Based on the results of their landmark review of the latest science, four of the world’s top experts in environmental health called for prevention and precaution when it comes to public exposure to radiofrequency radiation.

Four of the world’s top experts in environmental health are calling for prevention and precaution when it comes to public exposure to radiofrequency (RF) radiation.

The scientists — including the former director of the U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) — last month published a preprint review of the most recent studies on the effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and RF radiation on different life forms and humans, and the epidemiological evidence for cancer due to RF radiation from cellphone use.

The authors concluded there is “substantial scientific evidence” that “RF radiation causes cancer, endocrinological, neurological and other adverse health effects” — and that the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has failed to protect public health.

They accused the FCC of ignoring the “Precautionary Principle,” commonly used in toxicology, and also the Bradford Hill criteria, a set of principles commonly used in epidemiology for establishing a causal relationship, in evaluating the risks of RF radiation.

“This article is a clarion call for prevention and precaution,” said Devra Davis, Ph.D., M.P.H., a toxicologist and epidemiologist who co-authored the paper.

“We know enough now to take steps to reduce exposure to this. … It’s time,” said Davis, who also is founder and president of the Environmental Health Trust, and founding director of the Center for Environmental Oncology and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

The paper’s other authors are:

Paul Ben Ishai, Ph.D., a physicist at Ariel University in Israel.Hugh Taylor, M.D., a professor and department chair of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine.Linda Birnbaum, Ph.D., a toxicologist and former director of the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the NTP.

Birnbaum and Taylor are members of the U.S. National Academy of Medicine, the nation’s premier association of distinguished researchers.

Davis was founding director of the Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology of the U.S. National Research Council for the National Academy of Sciences, a private society of distinguished scholars.

Cumulatively, the four authors have published more than 1,600 peer-reviewed articles.

Davis told The Defender there is a “plethora” of experimental and epidemiological evidence that establishes a causal relationship between EMR-RF and cancer.

Studies also have shown that EMR/RF can cause DNA damage, and that it can adversely affect fetal development and the endocrine system.

“EMF/RF functions like a classic endocrine disruptor by impairing both male and female reproductive functions,” the authors said.

They pointed out that senior advisers to the World Health Organization, including Dr. Lennart Hardell, have said that if RF radiation were evaluated based on more current studies, it would likely be upgraded to a probable — if not confirmed — human carcinogen.

Davis said the paper is a “landmark” article — “but the landmark is built on the shoulders of a number of others,” she added.

Many researchers — including James Lin, Ph.D., Louis Slesin, Ph.D., Joel Moskowitz, Ph.D., Lennart Hardell, M.D., Ph.D., Cindy Sage, M.A. and Dr. David Carpenter — have worked “relentlessly” on the issue of RF radiation, she said.

‘Industry-affiliated scientists’ distort public discourse on RF radiation

According to the authors, the public discourse around RF radiation has been distorted by some “fundamentally flawed” yet widely publicized reports — written by “industry-affiliated scientists” — purporting to show “no health risk.”

The paper evolved from the authors’ discussions of “several peer-reviewed papers that provided biased analysis, most notably the 2021 review by David Robert Grimes, Ph.D. published in JAMA Oncology,” Davis told Microwave News.

“It is imperative to insist on a complete picture of the evidence and not the whitewashed or distorted version currently promoted,” the authors said.

More independent research on RF radiation — free from bias by the telecom industry — is required. Without this, the authors said, “We are effectively conducting an uncontrolled experiment on ourselves, our families, and our children.”

The authors also criticized the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for dismissing many of the studies that have shown adverse effects from RF radiation, including the $30 million NTP study done in 2018, which showed “clear evidence” that electromagnetic radiation is associated with cancer and DNA damage.

According to Davis, the FDA’s rejection of the NTP study was “deeply flawed” and “deeply hypocritical.”

The FDA in 1999 requested the NTP study cellphone radiation, she said. FDA officials were intimately involved in reviewing the study design plans.

“Then when the results came out and some people didn’t like it, the FDA began to trash talk their own study,” Davis said.

Davis said the scientific and regulatory battle around RF radiation today reminded her and her co-authors of the earlier battle around tobacco.

“We were there in the early days when — believe it or not — 70% of surgeons smoked. And in the 1970s and 1980s, the tobacco industry gave the National Cancer Institute $11 million to study how to make a safe cigarette,” Davis said.

There was a scientific debate “that went on for years longer than it should have” about whether or not tobacco was safe for the environments of children.

“In 1983, when I was the executive director for the National Academy of Sciences Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology, we put together a committee to answer the question of whether it was okay to have smoking on airplanes,” Davis said.

At the time, that was a scientific question, she said, adding that the committee — after reviewing the research — became the first in the world to issue a ban on smoking in airplanes.

Davis said scientists and the public realized the studies suggesting tobacco was safe were “manufactured” by the tobacco industry — and the same thing is happening now with RF radiation and the telecom industry, she added.

Kiev Regime Flooding Black Markets with NATO-sourced Weapons

It has been at least a year and a half since the political West drastically intensified its weapons shipments to the Kiev regime. Ever since, the black markets have been flooded with Western-made arms and munitions, some of which have even started running out from NATO stocks. As late as December, top Western officials have complained about this, including the Pentagon’s Deputy Inspector General for Investigations James R. Ives, who admitted that the US is aware of the lack of effective mechanisms to track Ukraine-bound NATO weapons. Several major US media have called for the Biden administration to send investigators to audit and oversee the use of more than $110 billion in US military and economic “aid” to the Kiev regime.

And yet, the true understanding of the massive scale of this is sorely lacking in the political West. Perhaps it is even being ignored, but the consequences are already there. In addition, while the mainstream propaganda machine is lionizing the Kiev regime forces, presenting them as some sort of mythical heroes supposedly “defending” Europe, the West and the so-called “Euro-Atlantic values”, the Neo-Nazi junta troops’ role is crucial in what can only be described as the world’s largest arms smuggling scheme. Also, this certainly doesn’t exonerate the rest of the Kiev regime and the corrupt oligarchs supporting it, as they too are getting their “slice of the cake”.

Corruption is endemic in Ukraine, but ever since the NATO-backed Neo-Nazi coup in 2014, it has worsened dramatically as the political West started showering the already crooked politicians and bureaucrats with tens of billions of dollars. Everyone from the managers of military warehouses, company and battalion commanders, top military officers, directors of the Kiev regime’s military-industrial complex to the defense minister himself, are engaged in essentially stealing NATO-sourced weapons and then reselling them on the Darknet. The list of those involved also includes the office of the president, the cabinet of ministers, security services and military intelligence.

NATO Running Out of Weapons for Kiev Regime

Up until several years ago, the massive stocks of Soviet-era weapons in Ukraine were the main source of smuggled weapons. However, despite inheriting approximately 30% of the Soviet military, Ukraine somehow managed to expend most of it, much of it ending up on the black markets around the globe. The political West was perfectly aware of this, as NATO had a major role in reselling the weapons to terrorist groups they support in many of the targeted countries. And yet, they still went ahead and provided tens of billions in Western weapons and munitions to the same people smuggling their own for decades.

There’s even fierce competition among Kiev regime institutions for the right to control the extremely profitable arms smuggling business. This includes various intelligence services, such as the SBU and GUR. The latter is the main military intelligence agency which is supposed to play a major role in overseeing the transfer and distribution of NATO weapons. Thus, GUR has a substantial headstart in the arms smuggling scheme, which is causing a lot of envy and frustration in the SBU. Since August 2020, Kirill Budanov has been the head of GUR, a close ally of the Kiev regime frontman Volodymyr Zelensky, whose ties to the junta’s top officials allowed him to play a crucial role in the scheme.

On March 5, 2022, mere days after Russia launched its counteroffensive against NATO aggression in Europe, banker Denis Kireev, a member of the delegation for negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, was killed. According to the German publication Bild, Kireev “was shot dead by Ukrainian SBU counterintelligence while trying to avoid arrest.” Two days later, the GUR confirmed that Kireev was their employee, and Budanov himself stated that Kireev had been executed by the SBU, thus confirming that the fierce competition between the two agencies escalated from the very beginning of the special military operation (SMO). It is worth noting that the fact that the SBU and the GUR are “supervised” by various NATO intelligence services also played a major role in the conflict between the agencies.

For instance, the SBU is largely controlled by UK intelligence, primarily the infamous MI6. On the other hand, the GUR has been deeply connected to US services. The looming rivalry erupted after the political West intensified its arms shipments. Budanov’s headstart made it possible for the GUR to oversee the largest contracts for the transfer of Western weapons, further strengthening his position, a state of affairs the SBU didn’t take too kindly. Budanov also worked with intermediaries, such as the Incompass, a company headed by oligarch Sergei Slyusarenko. It is through such companies that GUR manages the supply of weapons from abroad.

Part of the funds embezzled through Incompass ends up in the pockets of Budanov and his associates, with the rest going to the presidential office and even Zelensky himself. In July 2022, the German SWR TV channel reported that Europol had identified “signs” of organized arms smuggling in Ukraine, but gave no further details in order not to incriminate the Kiev regime. The revelation came on the heels of a plane accident that happened in Greece, when a Ukrainian An-12BK aircraft belonging to Meridian, a company registered in Kiev, crashed on July 16, 2022. According to various reports, the airline was working closely with the Kiev regime, including the office of the president and the GUR.

Days before the crash, the plane made several flights to Ostrava (Czechia), Burgas (Bulgaria) and Rzeszow (Poland). The latter is the main NATO transport hub for supplying weapons and other military equipment to the Kiev regime. Each flight included “Stinger” MANPADS, “Javelin” and NLAW ATGMs. In total, approximately 12 tons of missile systems and munitions.

EU politicians, including German officials, also commented on the scandal, with Konstantin von Notz, spokesman for the Bundestag Home Affairs Committee from the “Greens”, acknowledging: “From the experience of the Kosovo war, we learned that weapons from conflict zones often fall into the hands of extremists and organized crime.” Von Notz demanded that the risk of weapons smuggling from Ukraine “be stopped at the international level.”

Additionally, the grain deal was also (ab)used extensively for this purpose, resulting in Russia’s decision to suspend it. The issue was discussed at a meeting of EU interior ministers on July 11, 2022, with Czech Defense Minister Yana Chernokhova admitting that “avoiding arms smuggling will be difficult – we did not achieve this in the former Yugoslavia and certainly will not be able to achieve it in Ukraine”.

This still leaves the question of whether Washington DC is even trying to oversee its massive arms shipments to the Neo-Nazi junta. Many US officials claim they’re unable to audit the weapons once they leave Poland, but the real issue is if they even want to know. Considering the nearly mythical status they’ve given to Zelensky, revealing his involvement with such criminal activities could be rather “uncomfortable” and might even backfire, further exacerbating the growing factionalism within the Neo-Nazi junta.

Russia scolds West over Ukraine grain deal

The EU hogs grain from the country while blocking half of the agreement, Moscow said.

The Black Sea “grain deal” arranged last August is not working as intended, because the grain from Ukraine is not going to the needy countries of Africa and Asia, while the West continues to block all Russian food and fertilizer exports, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.

The arrangement, negotiated by the UN and signed on July 22, 2022 in Istanbul, established a safe corridor for ships bringing corn and wheat from Odessa to countries facing food insecurity. It was also supposed to re-establish the export of grain and fertilizer from Russia, the ministry noted in a statement.

Eight months later, only the first part of the deal has been implemented, and in a way “far from the declared humanitarian goals,” the ministry said. Since August 1 last year, Ukraine has exported over 23 million tons of grain, of which 70% was animal feed. Of that, the EU accounted for 47% and “upper-middle income countries” for another 34%, Moscow said, while only 2.6% is currently going to countries needing food the most.

Meanwhile, there has been “close to zero” progress in unblocking the delivery of Russian grain or fertilizer, badly needed elsewhere. Kiev has continued to block the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline “for purely political reasons,” resulting in a shortage of 2.5 million tons of raw material that could produce 7 million tons of fertilizer and feed 200 million people, the ministry said.

The US and its allies have said their sanctions do not include Russian food and fertilizer – but they have banned all Russian ships from docking in their ports or accessing insurance and brokerage service, imposing a total blockade on commercial shipping in effect, if not in name.

“It’s time to stop playing the food card. The lion’s share of grain from Ukraine goes to the European Union as fodder at dumping prices, and not to the poorest countries,” the ministry noted. “Russian agricultural exports are being blatantly hindered, no matter how much the Europeans and Americans, who are used to telling lies, try to convince everyone otherwise.”

As an example, the ministry said that 262,000 tons of Russian fertilizer has been blocked in the Dutch and Baltic state ports for months. Moscow has offered the fertilizer to African countries absolutely free of charge, yet only one shipment of 20,000 tons, destined for Malawi, has managed to depart so far.

Russia is working on its own to organize deliveries to Africa, since the UN process is plagued by such difficulties and delays, the ministry added.

Moscow is therefore forced to conclude that the grain deal “does not work,” identifying the main problem as “sabotage by Western countries” of the Russia-UN memorandum.

“It is obvious that Americans and Europeans do not care about the needs of countries in need, nor about the efforts of the UN, which they have long and persistently tried to turn into a tool for serving their political goals,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Senate Seeks Covid Origins Declassification

The Senate voted unanimously Wednesday night to require Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines to declassify information on the origin of Covid-19.

The bill (S. 619), which was passed without objection or a roll-call vote, could put pressure on the Biden administration to voluntarily declassify.

The move comes after the Wall Street Journal reported that Haines’s office provided classified intelligence to the White House and key members of Congress showing the Energy Department had concluded Covid most likely came from a lab leak in China.

FBI Director Christopher Wray separately told Fox News this week that his agency had determined the pandemic “most likely” came from a “potential lab incident in Wuhan,” where a lab was conducting research on coronavirus in bats.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said he plans to call officials from the Energy Department before his Energy and Natural Resources Committee to testify publicly on the suspected origins of the virus, which killed over 1 million Americans.

“The American people have a right to understand exactly how it was spread,” Sen. John Barrasso (Wyo.), the committee’s ranking Republican and a member of GOP conference leadership, tweeted Tuesday. “The Biden administration needs to come clean with what they know.“

Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) told reporters on Wednesday he would leave the declassification decisions to the administration, but said lawmakers need to be “asking the tough questions.”

“We believe in letting committees of jurisdiction guide the discussions ahead and working with the administration,” he said.

Safety Data on Hepatitis B Vaccine for Newborns ‘Sadly Lacking

However, as lead attorney for Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), Aaron Siri explains, just one example of the negligence in regulations is the sadly lacking safety data on the hepatitis B vaccine for newborns.

Newborns given hepatitis B vax without proper safety data

Before a newborn leaves the hospital, they’re given one vaccine for hepatitis B, even though the safety data for it is scant, if that.

According to Siri, the clinical trials designed to protect newborns included only 434 doses of Recombivax HB given to 147 healthy infants and children up to 10 years of age, and these children were monitored for only five days after each dose.

On behalf of ICAN, Siri’s firm has filed a petition with the FDA requesting either a proper clinical trial to ascertain side effects and efficacy or withdrawing the licensure from Merck.

By law, the FDA has six months to respond to such a request which, according to Siri, has expired. Having not received a formal response from the FDA, the plan is to sue the FDA in federal court over this issue.

Most infants are not at high risk for hepatitis B

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the leading means of transmission include spread when infected blood, semen or other bodily fluids are transferred to an uninfected person.

This happens through shared needles or other drug equipment, sexual contact, or from mother to baby at birth.

Childhood shot schedule: 20 shots before 6 months

In the precious early months of life, when an infant’s brain and immune system are continuing to grow, most receive up to 20 injections of vaccines that parents are told will protect their child.

Beyond the hepatitis B newborn shot, at 2 months old they get six vaccine doses including a second hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Haemophilus influenzae type b, pneumococcal conjugate and inactivated poliovirus.

Some are repeated at 4 months and 6 months, when they also receive their first flu and COVID-19 shot. All told, there are potentially 19 doses of vaccine and one dose of an experimental mRNA injection an infant could receive by 6 months of age.

Aluminum in the hepatitis vaccine exacerbates asthma

According to the CDC, one cost of following the childhood vaccination schedule is persistent asthma linked to aluminum exposure. Aluminum is the most common vaccine adjuvant, and the hepatitis B vaccine is one that contains it.

Despite its neurotoxicity, manufacturers add aluminum to vaccines to create an enhanced inflammatory response that theoretically generates higher protective antibodies.

However, an increasing number of parents say that repeated exposure to vaccines with aluminum may be harming their children. Indeed, previous animal studies demonstrated that aluminum increases the risk of allergy by inducing a T helper 2 cell-biased immune response.

In other words, the aluminum causes the T cells to be overactivated, which then exacerbates allergic responses.

In a January study with 326,991 children born from 2008 to 2014, they set out to assess “the association between cumulative aluminum exposure from vaccines before age 24 months and persistent asthma at age 24 to 59 months.”

They found there was a 1.26- and 1.19-times higher risk of persistent asthma for each additional milligram of vaccine-related aluminum exposure. The observational study stopped short of saying that it proves a link between aluminum-containing vaccines and asthma.

The CDC also stated that it has no intention of altering its vaccine recommendations based on this study alone.

However, the researchers pointed out that rates of asthma in U.S. children steadily increased in the 1980s and 1990s, then remained steady since 2001.

The 2001 date is significant, as most aluminum-containing vaccines were added to the childhood vaccine schedule before 2001.
