My resignation from the IAS was accepted in 2004 w.e.f. 14 January 2001

Some of my papers have been recovered in India from my father’s records after his death, including an attempt by the Indian government to pay me a few weeks of leave that I was entitled to. Here’s the acceptance in 2004 (!) of my resignation from the IAS w.e.f. 14 January 2001.
