Further notes on my position on various issues
A few days ago I had responded to a voter here about a number of issues. The ACL had asked me for my views, so I responded. See this. At the Church gathering on Wednesday I provided my position (and in many cases the Australian Federation Party’s position) during the QA session – e.g. on: […]

My response to questions from the Australian Christian Lobby
A few days ago I completed this questionnaire (below | PNG ) for the ACL. You can find this also by going to https://vote.acl.org.au/, then to Victoria > Menzies then looking for me. I’m the only candidate to have completed the questions for Menzies. Clearly not many people in Menzies who stand for religious freedom. […]

India’s lockdowns most likely caused 100-1000 times greater harms than any benefits
Now that the CBA numbers for Australia have been decided upon by Gigi Foster (in case you missed it), I thought I’d spend around 10 minutes to outline the implications for India. For India the growth in debt was not so huge as in Australia. But it was significant, nevertheless – India’s debt to GDP […]

Email I’ve sent out regarding Gigi Foster’s cost benefit analysis of Australia’s lockdowns
Sent this out a short while ago: Finally, a detailed cost-benefit analysis of the lockdowns and border closures in Australia Dear all Over the past 8-9 months, I’ve assisted Prof. Gigi Foster in preparing a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of lockdowns and border closures in Australia. I put in over 200 hours into this effort. Prof. Foster […]

More information to confirm that Narasimha Rao was ENTIRELY responsible 100% for Babri demolition
I’ve written a lot about this in the past, but Mr Devasahayam has sent me his recent article which provides further extensive details about what transpired when the Babri Masjid was demolished. From Babri to JP Narayan: Tales of Two Civil Servants Who Defended Democracy I did not know Mr Godbole personally but he had […]

Something else is not right about the OxCGRT database – things don’t add up
I’ve discussed the database flaws here. But here’s a highly suspicious thing. News reports on the OxCGRT database trends were already out on 26 March 2020 (e.g. https://techcrunch.com/2020/03/25/oxf...). They published a full-fledged working paper on 30 March 2020: https://en.unesco.org/inclusivepolicy... – any such paper takes at least a week to prepare. The OxCGRT database is heavily […]

My observations regarding the OxCGRT database not being fit for purpose – and how we could use it meaningfully
I’ve sent out this email to a few researchers. Please feel free to share with anyone who would be interested: ====== Dear all The University of Oxford has done us all a great favour by building the OxCGRT database with its stringency index, etc. On the other hand, having had a look at it for a few […]
