Before the pornographic accusations commence, the image before you is a furtling, a little late 19th century Victorian-era British humor. The cards, we are told by Fentimans, exemplify “the Victorian art of suggestive hand manipulation.” Which basically means you crinkle up your hand in various ways and stick it behind a card with a design drawn on the front.
