Auld Lang Syne, 2023

As I’ve mentioned, I hate goodbyes. Of any kind. Finality terrifies me. Thus, because New Year’s Eve focuses on what is essentially the death of a year, and celebrates the birth of a new one, it’s probably not surprising that I am always depressed at this time. Especially since for the 35th year or so in a row, I won’t be invited to any parties.

I used to look forward to New Year’s Eve. I went to some great New Year’s Eve parties, back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Ones where you didn’t fee...

Prepping After 60- Being Older Doesn’t Mean That Your World Has Come to an End

Ever wonder how you will live if the SHTF? Ever try to answer all the questions that you ask yourself about how you will survive as a single, senior woman living alone with no family, no spouse, no other support other than yourself? I ask myself everyday as I grow older and a little weaker in body and strength. I used to be able to lift fifty pounds of feed or move a bale of hay easily but now it gets to be a real trial. But, since I am alone, I have to do it anyway I can and I usually do. It is...

American Playwright Punished in Berlin

I first heard about the American expat playwright in Berlin, C.J. Hopkins, in November 2020, when someone sent me a link to his essay The Germans Are Back! in which he wrote the following:

In case you missed it, on November 18, the German parliament passed a new law, revising the so-called “Infection Protection Act” (“Das Infektionsschutzgesetz” in German), that formally granted the government the authority to issue whatever edicts it wants under the guise of protecting the public health. The go...

Why the US Needs a ‘Secure Border With a Wide Gate’

Which part of the graph below do the GOP border warriors not understand? To wit, after growing by 1.9% per annum between 1972 and 2008, the growth rate of the prime-age US labor force (age 25-54) has decelerated to, well, 0.03% during the last 14 years.

At the same time, you do not need to be an economic historian to recognize that fully half of the GDP growth during modern times has been due to more workers and more labor hours supplied to the economy. So if labor supply growth has gone to zer...

Can We Predict 2024?

Despite all of my disastrously wrong past predictions, I cannot resist sharing my thoughts on the coming year.  Before I start, let’s accept that state-created pain, state hypocrisy, and state-funded murder around the world – much of it funded and enabled by the US Government – will continue apace.

Like a game of musical chairs, about midway through, when it dawns on the players that chairs really are being removed – panic levels start to rise.  We have been watching this growing panic in the lo...

This Will Send Gold Off to the Races

Peter Schiff recently appeared on the Commodity Culture podcast to talk about gold. He said that while gold has done relatively well this year despite significant headwinds, we haven’t seen anything yet. Once the markets realize inflation is here to stay, gold will be off to the races.

While the price of gold has been slowly climbing, especially over the last couple of months,  Peter conceded he thought it would have run much higher. But he remains bullish on gold.

I still think I am going to be...

Do You Dare Even Look? — Forecast 2024

“I’ve also lost patience with the Sharia of the political left taking over the entire system.” — David Collum

Historians of the future, flash-frying peccary testicles and mesquite pods over their campfires, will wonder at how the archetypal Shining City on a Hill of America’s storied yesteryear got transformed into the roach motel that our country has become on the threshold of 2024 CE. Will they be as stupidly bewildered as, in our time, the faculty at Harvard, the editors of The New York Times...

Was 9/11 a False Flag?

U.S. Foreign Policy in the Wake of 9/11. “Just War” Against Muslim Countries, “Counter-Terrorism”

Author’s note: My critique and analysis of the “Just War” concept was first raised in an article entitled America’s “Just War” against Afghanistan: Women’s Rights “Before” and “After” America’s Destructive Wars.

Introduction. The 9/11 False Flag and the 2023 Middle East War

This article which focusses on the 9/11 False Flag is of utmost significance to our understanding of the ongoing Israel-U.S. ge...

Democrats Facing Election Wipeout Resort To Desperate Actions

Civil rights groups are suing under US law in behalf of immigrant-invaders who are not US citizens and have no protection of US civil right laws.  The issue is a Texas state law that permits Texas authorities to arrest and deport illegal immigrants.  The claim is that illegal immigrant-invaders are protected from Texas law by federal civil rights law, a nonsense claim that destroys the concept of citizenship.

Remember the “Covid pandemic” when New York was restricting entry of US citizens into...
