Wake Up Conservatives! Donald Trump Is Not the Second Coming of Grover Cleveland

If Donald Trump’s clean sweep of the GOP primaries is any indicator, then the cause of liberty, peace, free market capitalism, fiscal rectitude, sound money and small government is at an all-time nadir.

The Donald stands for none of these core values. Yet Republican voters have greeted him like he was the second coming— if not of Jesus Christ, then at least Grover Cleveland.

That’s right. These badly deluded people apparently believe that another Trump run at the White House in 2024 will enable ...

Vegetable Oils Wreck Your Gut

You may have heard about how bad vegetable oils are by now. But have you ever wondered why? My biggest beef with vegetable oils is that they negatively impact your metabolic rate and gut health — the two most important factors that impact your state of health.

So, yah. It’s kind of a big deal that our food system is centered around them. And that mainstream nutrition advice from Harvard still recommends vegetable oil as a “healthy fat” because it lowers serum cholesterol.

But what about the well...

Price Controls Are Coming

This week, Peter reacts to politicians’ sophomoric views on inflation and explains the recent surge in the price of gold. He also comments on the first day of Jerome Powell’s congressional testimony. Be sure to watch Peter’s special extra episode from earlier this week if you missed it.

Peter thinks the price of gold has finally broken free from resistance, and it’s going to keep rising. Because retail investors have been dumping gold recently, a retail sell-off is unlikely to bring gold below ...

Macrame Macron Is Full of Holes

France’s Macron wants to send troops to Ukraine because Russia needs to be defeated militarily given the sanctions have done nothing.  France’s entire military including desk-clerks is 198,000 strong…  It’s military spending as a percent of GDP remains at 1.94%.   Due to excessive spending, France just announced budget cuts of $10 billion to rein in a growing deficit which now stands at 4.4% of economic output.  As of last September, France’s deficit stood at $3.69 trillion.   YET, Macron wants ...

A Low-Trust Society Is an Impoverished Society

The sole remaining reservoirs of trust in American life are personal networks, local enterprises and local institutions.

It’s not exactly news that social trust has declined significantly in the United States. Surveys find that public trust in institutions and the professional classes that dominate those institutions has cratered. (see chart below) Social trust–our confidence that other people are trustworthy–has also fallen to multi-decade lows.

This was not the case in decades past. Americans ...

Why Non-White Voters Are Moving Away From Democrats

The Democrats fear that they are losing support from non-white voters.

Polling data indeed shows that parts of the non-white voters are shifting away from the Democrats and towards the Republicans.

John Burn-Murdoch, chief data reporter for the Financial Times, has looked at the reasons why that is being the case.

A Catechism To Save Biden’s Soul

In the span of a few brief centuries, what was once an uncharted wilderness has risen to become the single most powerful nation on earth: the United States of America.

This great nation is currently governed by a President who claims to be Roman Catholic: a tenure of Church–State relations that should have been cause for universal rejoicing and incredible victories for the salvation of souls, the exaltation of Holy Mother Church, and the social reign of Christ the King.

Instead, President Joe Bi...

Laken Riley, Open Borders, and the Epstein List

One reason why my books on hidden history have proven popular is because I discuss forgotten incidents and people. Mining those memory holes produces some significant gems. What’s frustrating is the inability to find updates on important stories. It’s as if the stories themselves have been slain, left forever frozen in time.

In a December 8, 1954 television interview with Longines Chronoscope, which is still available on YouTube, Admiral Richard Byrd spoke of “an area as big as the United States...

Biden Juiced Up, Ready To Go

Maybe he was born with it; maybe it’s amphetamine.  Iconic Maybelline slogan aside, the consensus is that Dark Brandon was doped nicely for his State of the Union address.

We have been seeing signs that old Joe is medically prepped for major public appearances.  His shrill voice and barely suppressed rage is familiar to many of us who have elderly demented friends and relatives.  The man is suffering, no doubt.

The Bidens have staked a claim on public welfare, via graft, vice, and connections, s...

Here Comes the New DEI, Same as the Old DEI

A number of Republican states have banned DEI, resulting in the termination of DEI schemes in higher education institutions. The NYT reports that “In 2023, more than 20 states considered or approved new laws taking aim at D.E.I”.

Much hard work by Republicans went into getting these DEI schemes banned, especially in raising public awareness about the sinister machinations behind friendly-sounding words like diversity and inclusion. Adopting beguiling labels for their schemes is a favorite commie...
