Anti-Ron Snarkathon

But the reporter is right: her story about interrupting his breakfast, which he eats without a squad of handlers, does make us love Ron even more. (Thanks to Travis Holte)

Foreign Policy

Writes Dom Armentano:

"Our positions on foreign policy cannot be explained and understood in soundbites! Let me repeat something I suggested months ago: Ron MUST make a national television presentation on foreign policy. We may never be this close again."

'The Ed Show' Loves Ron Paul

Writes Justin Raimondo:

"An amazing 15-minute segment on 'The Ed Show,' of all places, on Ron

Paul -- very favorable; he unfolded a Ron Paul campaign brochure and

READ IT ALOUD. In tones of admiration he described how young Paulites are handing them out at basketball games. Ed clearly is rooting for Paul. Go figure...."

UDATE Thanks to Travis Holte for the video.

The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul

(Thanks to David Kramer)

UPDATE from a friend:

"I have a low opinion of hospital nurses. They as a bloc of females have turned hospitals into compassionless prison wards, ruined the natural birth process, are responsible for routine circumcision ... the list is endless.

"Having birthed twice myself, thankfully without hospital or nurse, I know the value of compassionate, expert, technical care while in labor. The last thing a woman needs is to be made to wait and 'hold' (in the baby... who will suffer oxygen deprivation, or death.)

"I wonder if the 'head nurse' knows she is responsible for James's baby being stillborn?"

Ron Paul Is Changing the GOP

And will, at the least, be a huge figure at the convention, says Democrat Peter Beinart. Why? Because Ron represents the very real peace tendencies in the American right, long suppressed and demonized by Bill Buckley and the other neocons, but now roaring back. In fact, Ron's championship of peace is precisely why he can go all the way, and why the neocons are panicking, and returning to their vulgar Trotskyite roots.

'James Bond' on Politicians (He Hasn't Met Ron)

Says Daniel Craig: They're "sh**heads" who "stab you in the f**king back."

The Regime's Political Philosopher

Benito Mussolini:

"The truth is that mankind is tired of liberty."

"All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state."

"Fascism, the more it considers and observes the future and the development of humanity, quite apart from political considerations of the moment, believes neither in the possibility nor the utility of perpetual peace."

"It is the State which educates its citizens in civic virtue, gives them a consciousness of their mission and welds them into unity."

"The keystone of the Fascist doctrine is its conception of the State, of its essence, its functions, and its aims. The State is absolute, individuals and groups relative."

"War alone brings up to their highest tension all human energies and imposes the stamp of nobility upon the peoples who have the courage to make it."

"War is to man what maternity is to a woman. From a philosophical and doctrinal viewpoint, I do not believe in perpetual peace."

"We have buried the putrid corpse of liberty."

(Thanks to Galen)
