The Sinister Area 51
A pair of intrepid explorers have taken fascinating new images of one of the most closely-guarded US Army Bases of all time: supposed alien prison Area 51.
Located out in the arid Nevada desert, Area 51 – a detachment of California’s Edwards Air Force Base – was founded in 1955 to test the Lockheed U-2 reconnaissance plane.
Since then, however, it has become the subject of numerous UFO sightings and has become inextricably linked in the public’s mind with captive aliens and government conspir...
The Implantable Microchip
If you’re familiar with the Star Trek spin-off television series, The Next Generation, starring Patrick Stewart, you know about the Borg.
A highly advanced and aggressive network of humanoid drones, the Borg is part organic, part artificial life. At birth, a Borg infant is implanted with chips and other biotechnology that gives it superior mental and physical abilities. The chips link the baby’s brain to a collective consciousness, giving it seamless access to all knowledge assimilated by the...

The Deep State
While many in the United States firmly believe that the government just isn’t working, it is. But it’s only working for the powerful and rich elites in the government and the media who have a desire to cling to their oppressive control of others and the money many are willing to allow them to steal.
The fight has never been between the republicans and the democrats. As Americans choose sides, their rights and freedoms are sold to the highest bidder. According to Intellectual Takeout, the fi...
Two Cancer Cures Announced the Same Week
In striking contrasts, a university-based team just announced it has developed a five-dollar treatment that completely abolishes cancer in the same week news headlines hailed the Food & Drug Administration’s approval of a $475,000 immunotherapy treatment for blood cancer (leukemia).
I’m sure readers want to hear about the five-dollar cancer cure first. A university-based team set out to develop a cancer cure that could be performed in third-world countries where incomes are low, equipment un...
Neocons About To Run Amok
In the past few days, it became quite clear to me that Donald Trump made a deal with the Neocons in Washington. He traded part of his domestic agenda for ceding control of foreign policy to the D.C. establishment.
It’s obvious when you connect the dots. Signing the sanctions bill, the non-shift in Afghanistan policy, the tit-for-tat diplomatic aggression with Russia, weapons to Ukraine, etc. I’ve written extensively about this. Graham is suddenly touting his Obamacare replacement bill.
But,...
Making Disasters Worse
Texans affected by Hurricane Harvey, including my family and me, appreciate the outpouring of support from across the country. President Donald Trump has even pledged to donate one million dollars to relief efforts. These private donations will be much more valuable than the as much as 100 billion dollars the federal government is expected to spend on relief and recovery. Federal disaster assistance hinders effective recovery efforts, while federal insurance subsidies increase the damage caus...
When Right Is Wrong
People sometimes do the right thing, but for the wrong reason—including presidents and politicians.
The Obama administration slashed hundreds of millions of dollars in military and economic assistance to Egypt in 2013 after the ouster of Egypt’s president Mohamed Morsi. This was a great thing, although Obama did promise future support that will depend on “Egypt’s progress in pursuing a democratic path.” As expected, $575 million in military aid to Egypt that had been frozen since the ousting...
Live and Let Di
I was appalled. She had asked Lord John Somerset to ask me to join her, and I rose rather unsteadily to do so. This was during a Jimmy Goldsmith ball, and I was writing the Atticus column in The Sunday Times, along with High Life in The Spectator. A German girlfriend of mine at the time warned me about going over. “If you go to her, that’s it,” she told me. “Auf Wiedersehen,” I answered. The princess signaled for me to sit, and that’s where the appalling part comes in. I missed the chair and...
Disaster Aftermath Supplies
Before something like Hurricane Harvey, who would’ve imagined the kind of destruction that would literally immobilize a major U.S. metropolitan area for what could potentially be weeks if not months? As of this writing, we’re 72 hours into the aftermath of this major disaster and supplies are already running low.
Amid the images of loss and destruction, hurricane survivors know they must restock provisions to prepare for another week or more of sheltering in place. Now, imagine 6.2 million pe...
Hurricane Irma (German for War Goddess)
Models have lately been trending hurricane Irma to hit southern Florida, with a turn to the north, driving it through the center of the state as a Cat4 or Cat5 Hurricane. Hurricane expert, Dr. Ryan Maue notes:
“GFS 00z track shifted considerably to west. Regardless of intensity issues, still a plausible track & worst case scenario”
Indeed, it is a worst case scenario for Florida. Let us hope the model is wrong.
He adds:
Similar track from ECMWF 00z (w/input of...
