The US Already Destroyed North Korea

Foreign tourists in North Korea are invariably steered to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum in Pyongyang, which documents the isolated nation’s crucible years: the 1950-53 war that split the Korean Peninsula in two.

Rural schoolchildren dressed in military uniform and wearing the bright red neckties of the Youth Revolutionary League listen wide-eyed as guides explain atrocities by the “US aggressors” committed during the war.

Many of these atrocities refer to what Blaine Harden,...

Tire Nazis

If you’ve gone to get new tires recently, you may have already dealt with the latest outcropping of technocratic busybodyism: The scanning of your car’s electronic ear tag, its Vehicle Identification Number or VIN.

The VIN is a bar code – literally – just like the one on the packages of stuff you buy at the supermarket or anywhere else that’s corporate. The VIN specifically identifies your car – including every last detail about it, such as the engine/transmission it came with, the color it w...

Is Your Shampoo Making You Sick?

By Dr. Mercola

You may be mistakenly comforted by the perceived oversight by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over chemicals used in the manufacture of everyday products. For instance, the FDA prohibits the use of mercurychloroform and nine other substances in your personal care products. However, once you know the European Union (EU) prohibits the use of more than 1,300 chemicals in their personal care products, you may not feel as protected — and you would be right.

The number...

How the US Became a Warmonger Police State

Professor David Ray Griffin is a tenacious person. He has written a number of carefully researched books that demonstrate the extraordinary shortcomings in the official account of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon and the subsequent anthrax attack. He has provided the mountains of evidence completely ignored by the US government’s account and the presstitute media.

In his recently published latest book, Bush and Cheney: How They Ruined America and the World , Professor Gr...

The Worst Airports in the US

New York City‘s LaGuardia Airport has been ranked the worst large airport in the United States, according to a new survey.

The notoriously unpopular facility, which is located in Queens, came in last among 21 airports in its category.

Even more surprising is that LaGuardia came in last despite this year having an all-time high traveler satisfaction rating.

The ranking was conducted by JD Power and asked about customer experiences.

New York’s other major airport also scored noticeably low – it...

Gov’t Crackdown Backfires

Spain will deploy police reinforcements to the northeastern region of Catalonia to maintain order and take action if a referendum on independence pledged by the Catalan government but deemed illegal by Spain should take place, officials said Friday.

AP reports that an Interior Ministry statement said the extra agents would provide backing for the Catalan regional police who are also under orders to prevent the staging of the referendum.

But protests continue to grow and Rajoy’s actions only s...

Puerto Rican Catastrophe

Puerto Rico, You lovely island,
Island of tropical breezes….
            — West Side Story

Welcome to America’s first experiment in the World Made By Hand lifestyle. Where else is it going? Watch closely.

Ricardo Ramos, the director of the beleaguered, government-owned Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, told CNN Thursday that the island’s power infrastructure had been basically “destroyed” and will take months to come back

“Basically destroyed.” That’s about as basic as it gets civilizatio...

I Got Snarnled in the Massive Equifax Crime

There has been a lot in the news lately about a huge security breach that happened at credit reporting agency Equifax.  In fact, the odds are good your identity has been compromised since there were 143 million people affected.  So what should you do to give yourself the best chance of protection?

What Happened?

The breach started in mid-May of this year and lasted through July.  Of course, we consumers did not find out about it until this month, which to me is criminal, but I digress.  The h...

A Blast Heard 1,200 Miles Away

It has been over 200 years since Mount Tambora in Indonesia erupted violently, resulting in death and disorder on a global scale.

According to The Guinness Book of World Records it is the deadliest volcano in history.

Here MailOnline Travel reveals the horrifying – but fascinating – history of the blast and how tourists today can take a peek at its incredible crater.

Mount Tambora is an active stratovolcano – meaning it is made up of layers of ash and lava – on the island of Sumbawa in Indone...

Are Chickenhawks Afraid of Ron and Lew?

Buried deep inside the just-passed defense budget is a small amendment, which could lead to a ban on broadcasting RT in America. The architects of the provision, Senators Graham and McCain, may recall that in their youth such practices formed what was known as the ‘Iron Curtain’.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the fiscal year 2018, which was passed by the US Senate earlier this week, is stuffed with provisions that have little to do with US national defense. This is a tacti...
