As former President Donald faces arraignment today, the charges against him keep piling up. If convicted of all charges, he faces 400 years in prison. But what may be even more concerning to Trump and his supporters is the fact - pointed out by Constitutional Law Professor Jonathan Turley - that even one single conviction for Trump means effectively a life sentence in prison. Republicans Fiscally Irresponsible Act

The political and financial class breathed a sigh of relief when Congress passed the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023. The bill suspends the debt ceiling for two years, thus avoiding the establishment’s nightmare of a government default on its debt.
