Last year, Paul won the CPAC presidential straw poll by nine points, with 31 percent of the ballots. Paul is likely to do well again this year. Because of Paul, the conservative movement will never be the same.

CPAC's First Day Highlight's Ron Paul's Popularity
The first day of the 2011 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) set the stage for what could be a raucous weekend of exciting events in Washington, D.C. Though the attendees of this year's conference are of a broad spectrum, it appears that the majority is youthful and energetic, and an abundance of them are fans of Congressman Ron Paul. And this year, they came to be heard.

A limited-government group says it's ratcheting up its grass-roots efforts this week to repeal the phaseout of incandescent light bulbs slated to begin next year.
