Trump Is Running Out of Bombs

The Donald is bombing so many countries so often, he’s running out of bombs.
“Critical munitions shortfalls are my top war-fighting concern,” says US Pacific commander Admiral Harry Harris. “We must maintain our capability to operate in contested environments.”
“Priorities include long-range and stand-off strike weapons, anti-ship weapons, advanced air to air munitions, theatre ballistic/cruise missile defence, torpedoes, naval mines, and a Cluster Munitions replacement.”
This is no...

As Expected, A 'Bipartisan' Budget...More Spending!
Congress has reached agreement on a stop-gap spending bill through September. Why did they all agree? There is lots of money for everyone! What's in the bill? Let's see...

The Fed's Actions Are Leading Us To Financial Crisis
By Ron Paul
The Federal Reserve has pumped about $5.5 Trillion of new money into the economy, just since the 2008 financial crisis.
In addition to destroying the value and purchasing power of the dollars that we all hold, this new money creates massive distortions throughout the economy. The bigger the distortions, the bigger the financial crisis that must follow.
This is not going to end well.
I discuss on CNBC's "Trading Nation" below:

Save Liberty, Shut Down the Government

Congress ended the week by passing a continuing resolution keeping the government funded for one more week. This stopgap funding bill is designed to give Congress and the White House more time to negotiate a long-term spending bill. Passage of a long-term spending bill has been delayed over objections to Republican efforts to preserve Obamcare's key features but give states a limited ability to opt out of some Obamacare mandates.
This type of brinkmanship has become standard o...

The US should accept China’s proposal and talk to North Korea. Here’s why.

One of the difficulties in discussing North Korea is that knowledge of the so-called ‘hermit kingdom’ is so limited.
No Western leader has ever met with Kim Jong-un, and nor at the highest level have the Chinese and Russian leaderships. There is scarcely any knowledge of the institutional frame-work within which he works. We do not know who his top advisers are and how he consults them. We do not know how well-informed he is about the world or even about North Ko...

The ‘Taxation Is Theft’ Meme Has Officially Gone Mainstream
By Alice Salles
The month of April is a nightmare for anyone with a conscience, as we only have until “tax day” — which usually falls on April 15 — to give the taxman what he says he deserves. So if you pay taxes to Uncle Sam and you’re also aware you’re paying for mass murder in the Middle East and in U.S. streets due to the drug war, you should also feel sick to your stomach as you write that check.
To a restaurant customer, this may have served as enough incentive to remind his server that t...

President Trump Now Declares: “I’m a nationalist *and* a globalist”

Looks like someone came out of the closet…
In his latest Wall Street Journal interview, president Trump has declared that he isn’t just a nationalist…
He’s also a globalist.
Apparently he now admits he’s both.
Yes, just after his dramatic reversal on NAFTA (and NATO), Trump has officially declared himself “also a globalist”. He told the WSJ:
“Hey, I’m a nationalist and a globalist,” President Trump said. “I’m both. And I’m the only one who makes the decision, believe me.”Ye...

Julian Assange Speaks Out: The War On The Truth
Wikileaks Founder and Editor-in-Chief Julian Assange joins the Liberty Report to discuss the latest push by the Trump Administration to bring charges against him and his organization for publishing US Government documents. How will they get around the First Amendment and the Espionage Act? The US government and the mainstream media -- some of which gladly publish Wikileaks documents -- are pushing to demonize Assange in the court of public opinion.

Trump Is an Insider Now

We had already counted six major campaign promises – including no O’care repeal and no “America First” foreign policy – already buried (some for the better).
Then came four more major policy reversals earlier this month. Seeking Alpha reports:
In a single day, President Trump appeared to reverse his positions on no fewer than four key pledges that arguably led to his election victory. Trump told WSJ [The Wall Street Journal] yesterday that China is no longer a currency mani...

CIA Director Pompeo Doesn't Understand The First Amendment

You would think that by the time a person becomes the Director of the CIA, he would have a correct understanding of the Constitution, which is the founding document of the federal government, which the CIA is part of. This should be especially true when the CIA Director is a former member of Congress, a graduate of West Point, and the holder of a law degree from Harvard.
Embarrassingly, such is not the case with CIA Director and former U.S. Congressman Mike Pompeo....
