NATO Threatens Turkey...

NATO reacted sharply to Turkey's signing an agreement with Russia to purchase advanced missile defense systems, warning Turkey that it will be responsible for the consequences of such a move. Is the US military-industrial complex getting nervous, or are there larger geopolitical questions at hand? Or both...?

Yep...They Lied About Syria Too

PictureBy Liberty Report Staff

Wars and Lies go hand in hand. It's always challenging calling out the government on its lies as war fever picks up. They have the mass media in their pockets and they're all blaring fear inducing propaganda at the same time.

Pointing out the blatant lies automatically gets you branded as a "conspiracy theorist," and "unpatriotic."

It's always afterwards, when the damage has been done, that the truth finds its way out. By the time the truth comes out, everyone has alread...

Trump Hypes Tax Cuts - Don't Get Too Excited

The income tax should be 0%, just as it was for the first 137 years of American history. So tax cuts across the board are always a welcome development. However, tax cuts are just part of the big picture. What we need is a total cut in government's size and scope. Unfortunately, President Trump is not going in that direction. Ron Paul discusses on today's Liberty Report!

The Free Market Levels the Playing Field

PictureBy Jacob G. Hornberger

One of the favorite pastimes of leftists/progressives/liberals is lamenting the fact that some people have more while others have less. They say that life is just unfair in this respect. They want the government to “level the playing field” by using taxation to take money from those who have more and giving it to those who have less. Their ideal is a “level playing field” in which everyone has the same amount of wealth.

Even though they would never admit it openly, this l...

Congress Passes "Harshest" Sanctions On North Korea...And The People Suffer

A US Soldier Died in Niger. What on Earth Are We Doing There?

PictureBy Peter Certo

In our military-revering culture, it’s a strange thing for a president to start a war of words with the grieving families of slain soldiers.

Strange, yes. But from Donald Trump’s campaign season feud with the parents of Humayun Khan, who died protecting fellow soldiers in Iraq, to his recent feud with the mourning widow of La David Johnson, who died on patrol in Niger, it’s no longer surprising.

At root in the latest spat is a comment Trump made to La David’s widow Myeshia Johnson...

In a dramatic statement on the Senate Floor yesterday, Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) announced that he would not run for another term. He also had very sharp words for the culture and personalities surrounding him in Washington. Does he have a point? Or is he missing the point?

Pentagon Expands 'Terror War' To Africa: Where Is Congress?

Who knew that the US had 1,000 troops in Niger? What are they doing there? The Pentagon won't tell us, but Sen. Lindsay Graham assures us they are fighting for our freedom. Will Congress bother to notice as the war expands to Africa? Or will it continue to roll over for the Executive Branch and ignore the Constitution?
