W., Trump And The Neocons

George W. Bush was elected to office promising a "humble" foreign policy. He specifically said: "I'm not so sure it's the role of the United States to go around the world and say 'This is the way it's gotta be.'"
In hindsight, it's almost impossible to believe that those words were spoken by George W. Bush.
At the time, the perpetual war neocons were so-so on Bush. They much preferred John McCain to be the Republican nominee for president.
But they could work with Bush, an...

The 'Good War'? US Bomb Kills Entire Afghan Family
A determined father was not about to give up trying to find out how his entire family plus four cousins were killed one morning last fall. The US denied conducting any raids in the area. Then the bomb fragments were found. How many times has this tragedy been repeated in the futile 18 year war? To what end?

Hey Trump: Remember Wikileaks?

Last week in an episode of my daily Ron Paul Liberty Report we discussed whether the US and British government were actually trying to kill jailed Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange. More than seven years ago Assange was granted asylum from the government of Ecuador over fears that espionage charges were being prepared against him by Washington. He spent those years in a small room in the Ecuadorian embassy in London without sunlight. Without fresh air. Without exercise. Without me...

If You Desire A Limited & Constitutional Government, You MUST Care About Foreign Policy

The U.S. military-industrial-complex seems to run on autopilot at this point, doesn't it? No matter who the president is, the same policy is followed to the letter. No deviations whatsoever.
The U.S. has around 1,000 military bases peppered all over the Earth, it intervenes in more nations than Congress is even aware of, and all of it is just accepted as a fact of life.
No media attention. No antiwar movements. No political pressures. No questions asked.
President Trump even brag...

By Backing Al-Qaeda, Trump Continues Obama's Horrible Syria Policy
Over the weekend, President Trump tweeted a condemnation of Syria and Russia's assault on the Idlib province. Yet even the US government special envoy for Syria admitted on video that Idlib is home to the largest concentration of al-Qaeda fighters. Are Trump's advisors feeding him false information? Why continue the disastrous policy of backing al-Qaeda and other extremists in hope of overthrowing Assad? Why doesn't US policy change even after it is shown to be a huge failure?

China Trade War Explodes! ... Prepare For The Worst
You can't tax your way to prosperity...but you can surely tax your way into poverty. Instead of drastically shrinking government involvement in the U.S. economy, and making America more competitive, the Trump Administration chose to increase government intervention. Tariffs have always been destined to fail. The ramifications are hitting Americans hard, and it looks like it will get even worse!

In The War On Free Speech, Assange Says: “Everyone Else Must Take My Place”

This article was originally published at SHTFplan.com
WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange’s health is deteriorating in a British prison, but the journalist was able to get a letter out to the public. In the war on freedom of speech, Assange is asking everyone else who stands against corruption to take his place and keep speaking truth to power.
“Julian’s case is of major historic significance. It will be remembered as the worst attack on press freedom in our time,” said WikiLeaks e...

Are US/UK Trying To Kill Assange?
Jailed Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange is reportedly "too ill" to even speak at a scheduled hearing today on a Swedish extradition request. He is said to be "gravely ill" and even near death. If Assange is worth more dead than alive to the governments he has embarrassed by publishing the truth about their crimes, are they trying to make his death happen? Or will he be slowly killed by a 170 year prison sentence?

Mueller Blames Russia, Bolton Blames Iran. Should We Believe Them?
Robert Mueller resigned today as Special Counsel investigating Trump Campaign collusion with Russia. Though he found no collusion, his parting shot was aimed directly at Russia for "interference" in the election. His evidence? Allegations of a grand jury. Meanwhile, John Bolton swears that Iran is behind sabotage of four tankers in the UAE. His evidence? "Who else could it have been?" Are these government officials lying to us? Haven't they done that before? Do we believe them now?
