Pamela Poole writes inspirational mystery and suspense that explore the intersection of faith, history, and the unseen spiritual realm. Her stories are grounded in a clear Christian worldview and shaped by a deep respect for both historical preservation and biblical truth.

With a love for unusual old houses and the stories embedded within them, Pamela creates compelling mysteries where the past presses into the present—and faith becomes essential to discernment and courage. Her characters are ordinary people facing extraordinary challenges, learning to trust Jesus when darkness threatens and answers are not easily found.

Pamela is the author of the Strange Sands Suspense series and the Painter Place Saga, blending richly detailed settings wit

I'm going to be very busy for a few months with my re-releasing my fist two novels in the Painter Plae Saga independently, and do not expect to have much time for reading fiction. (less)

A historian in the mid 1900's picked up what remained of those journals when they were put out as trash, and it became his mission to deciper them and track down what he could about this man. He published a book about his findings, but it's no longer in print and I had to jot down notes when I had time to visit a library geneology room that is out of town. Perhaps someday I can get my hands on one and have a lot of story ideas!(less)

Summer on Southern Porches

Time passes slowly on a porch in the South, and by design, it’s comfortable and refreshing. If porch-sitting time isn’t spent in solitude and introspection, it’s shared with friends and family, listening as we dream of the future, pour out our hearts, or vent our disappointments and frustrations. More often than not, those conversations shape a Southerner’s character.
