Chris Hind is a writer originally from Toronto. He began his career freelancing for pen and paper roleplaying games, including Land of Giants: Scandinavia & the Beowulf Saga in the Time of King Arthur. While working in the video game industry, he continued to research Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian legends. In late 2024, his wife suggested he transform his research into fictional that humanizes the legends while grounding them in history and archeology. Finn's Legacy is the first in his Hengest Cycle.
