Autogenic Habitats: A New Explorer In Sanctuary

Kelly Burch writes: A few months ago I learned about something called Autogenic Habitats. I had no idea what this was at first. In fact I had to Google to find the definition of the word "autogenic". It means: "self-generating" or "from within".

So these habitats were literally places that I could create from within myself?

Intriguing.

Magic Carpet

A poem about a magic carpet - a very special kind of magic carpet, to be sure ...

Symbols For Magic: Pentagram, Pentacle, Spiral & Star

What better way to start the new collection of magic images with the symbol for magic? Only, there's more than one ... Let's start with the basics therefore, global magic symbols that declare there's a magician here and magic is being done, such as the pentacle, the pentagram, the spiral and the energy magic symbol.

Different By Design

Yes, well, what do I say to this?

It seems my art is different by design ...

Check this out, see if you can "spot the real StarFields" amongst this little lot.

Spring has sprung!

Here is a lovely bright spring flower collection of seamless repeating background images of daffodils, tulips, bluebells, quince, violets, pansies and more to brighten any day.

Meteorites Backgrounds

Meteorites are amazing things - and even more so if you slice them up real thin and photograph them in various ways and under polarized light.

Then meteorites reveal themselves as beautiful crystal cathedral windows ... back to a time when the universe began ... and begging to be made into a variety of seamless repeating background fills, textures and patterns.

Celebration Design

The "Celebration" design for the 10th Anniversary EmoTrance Conference.

EmoTrance is an amazing modality; indeed there would be no 1-art.eu website without it.

For ten years, EmoTrance has been flying under the radar, being used as a modern research tool which has already brought about massive changes - well, we might as well call them what they are, a real paradigm shift in the theory and practice of modern energy work.

So the theme was, "It's time to let the genie out of the bottle!"

A Painting Painting Itself: Gold Fall

Alright so no painting is painting itself here literally. A canvas jumping out of the cupboard, sticking out it's little arms and legs, undoing the paint tube and with squeals of pleasure, beginning to apply Alizarin Crimson to themselves in long, slow strokes ... ;->

What I'm talking about here is a process by which some paintings "arrive" - like Gold Fall.

Classic Symbol Painting: The Traveller

Just put this title down - that's funny. A "classic" symbol painting. A traditional symbol painting. The first one of those was in 2004, but I do know what I mean by that.

A classic symbol painting is created by movements of a hand holding a pen or brush in response to the instruction, "Give me something ..."

Easter Magic - Magic Spells For Easter, Imbolc and Oestara

In the natural magic calendar, the spring festival is aligned with the spring equinox, around March 21st, called Imbolc. It is the day in spring when the nights and days are the exact same length. The original "Easter" festival was related to Oestara, the goddess of dawn, Eos in Greek and the much older Babylonian Ishtar, the goddess of sex, war and fertility. The Christians liked to assimilate the existing festivals and now we have Easter, but the traditional magic of  giving each other eggs is bigger today than ever; and of course, we all know what bunnies are particularly well known for! Here are some ideas for energy magic spells for Easter, including the rather fabulous Easter Bunch or Osterstrauch tradition which is excellent for families and a great magic exercise for kids.
