When jobs collide

Romance at work? Being a good environmental citizen, I like to save paper where I can so I print on both sides of a sheet. Thanks to my novels, I have reams of paper that are blank on one side and romance-written on the other.

I just happened to have printed a work document on the backside of a page of A Tale Of Two Lovers. I just happened to have forgotten not to do a double-sided copy (saving more paper!). Oops!

So my team at work was treated to a super secret, very advanced sneak peek of A Tale Of Two Lovers, particularly the scene where Lady Julianna discovers Lord Roxbury in an extremely compromising position. All I'll say is this: his partner in crime is outrageously and scandalously unexpected.

Fortunately, since I'm "out" as a romance author, no one was quite shocked. However, as we say at work, that might be "below the line."
