Charlotte's Web, A New Book, What Remains, and a Little Maneki Neko For the Road

some_pig_largeI know this is terribly random but I love Wilbur from Charlotte's Web (I also love Fiver from Watership Down). So since it is July 1, that means that we have a winner for the Table Manners galley and Good Things g

A Confession, a Galley, a Wishlist and a Heck of a Lot of Chocolate

First, a confession.

After being pretty chipper for most of the year, I finally hit a wall. I’ve been hanging out in the pit of despair and self-pity this week, and can’t seem to shake it. And then, because I am a woman and occasionally oftentimes always hormonal, I am completely disgusted with myself for feeling this way. Gawd.

Maybe it’s the weather (which is finally turning after a long, wet winter), maybe it’s jury duty (why aren’t stay at home moms exempt? Come on!), or maybe it’s the clutter

A Wedding Band, Book Clubs, An Excerpt and the Best Water in the World

Today I’ve got a bunch of happy news to share with you. But first, a personal note.

If you ever want to challenge your relationship, then do this: make a big move to a place you’ve never lived, start a new business doing something you’v
