Thanks!

I just want to say thanks to the people who have been reading Annie Bot and kindly spreading the word about it. I keep hearing from new readers who are discovering and appreciating the novel, and I'm grateful.
Best,
Sierra
P.S. I saw the eclipse yesterday and it was amazing! S.

This is one of the messiest step-family novels I've ever encountered, and I have such sadness for the kids. I've been thinking about the characters on and off for ages, so I made time to reread and immerse myself again. Good stuff. ...more

I liked how different this was. When I read an early copy a few months ago, it stood out, and many times since then I've thought about the odd main character with all his insecurities and searching. The premise is bizarre, and it works. Highly recomm ...more

A good one! I liked the gentle sadness, the growth of the characters, and the sense of community. Tova was just as strong as everyone kept saying she was.

“She has been happy here, and anxiously miserable, but she has never been free.”
Sierra Greer, Annie Bot

“You want to know danger? Try living with a man who creates you just so he can eat your soul.”
Sierra Greer, Annie Bot

“She doesn't understand why, when Doug could be in a relationship with a human, he has chosen to have Annie as his girlfriend. Unless, she provides something that a human can't, like undivided attention. He is the only star in their system, she realizes. He had no competition. No one needed to listen to Annie like she's her own protagonist, because she is not. She had no outside, separate life beyond his. They have no issue of imbalance between them because they have no question ever of who has complete power.”
Sierra Greer, Annie Bot
