The Soldier and the Siren~a collaboration

In today's WILDFIRE you will find an all new FREE Sizzle by me. It's called "The Soldier and the Siren" and is a contemporary, 2300-word military-themed short that my soldier muse and I brainstormed together over IM one day when he couldn't sleep in Afghanistan because his tent was a hundred degrees, and I couldn't write because I was feeling uninspired.

Read the results in today's ARe Wildfire Ezine at the link below…

Scenes From the Cutting Room Floor

The Rookie Studs in Spurs Deleted Scene

I finally got around to formatting and uploading the deleted scene I cut out of BUCKED (Studs in Spurs, Book 2).

This is the scene where Mustang, freshly hurt and mourning the possible loss of his bull riding career, decides to take rookie bull rider Chase under his wing for a wild night with a woman they picked up at a local bar.

It's short, only 2500 words. This is NOT a romance, it's not a complete story, it is just what it says, a single scene that shows you what happened behind closed...

Quickie Troop Support Tutorial

This is just a quick, not at all comprehensive, list of tips for shipping items to deployed troops overseas. I just got home from the post office and wanted to get down my thoughts while they're fresh.

USPS FLAT RATE PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING

The Large Flat Rate box is a nice size and fits quite a bit. It would be perfect for shipping books. I filled it with canned goods. It is $12.50 to ship no matter what weight so you want to fill it up with all the heavy items you're sending. If you are...

Authors After Dark

Didn't you know? That's when authors really go wild. After dark. Anyone who's attended a romance convention can verify that. After dark is when the devils horns, vampire teeth and faery wings come out, along with usually a good showing of exposed cleavage, funky shoes and wild makeup. Yeah, I'm guilty of it myself. There are even a few pictures around the web to prove it.

So when is the next opportunity to see authors gone wild? Authors After Dark this September 16-19th in Secaucus, NJ, of...
