Water Street Books, Williamstown, Mass., 12.3.09

Last night I did my very first in-store author event in my old hometown at Water Street Books in Williamstown, Mass. This was a trial run for my bookstore shtick — something in between just signing and schmoozing and my fully staged multimedia performance thingy. I spoke off  the cuff about how the book came to be; read a few snippets from the book; picked up the guitar and played and sang a bit in the context of demonstrating a few points; and answered some great questions from some old...
