Day 6: Drive to Naranjo, Costa Rica

We journey from Montezuma to Naranjo, Costa Rica. A local family adopts us and puts us up for the night. Disclaimer: I am related to said "local family."

Day 5: Montezuma, Costa Rica

We spend the day hiking and exploring the beaches and jungle around Montezuma, Costa Rica.

Day 4: Drive to Montezuma

We wake up early to visit a beach covered in seashells and do some body surfing. We see a massive, white iguana, and make a long drive to one of the most awesome places on the planet: Montezuma, Costa Rica.

Day 3: Flamingo and Conchal

We visit my brother's two favorite beaches in Costa Rica: Conchal and Flamingo. Along the way, we encounter some Costa Rican wildlife.

Day 1: Airport Troubles

Our travel day to Costa Rica didn't go as planned. I'd told Sandi our layover through the night at the Guatemala Airport would be fun and sold her on the Red Carpet Lounge. I really blew it.

Day 0: Costa Rica Stress

Sandi and I went to Costa Rica in December of 2012. It has taken me a few years to edit my journal entries, but I'm finally getting around to posting them.
