This Is The Playboy Bunny Of Stackable Chairs

Tom Dixon's search for a beautiful--but professional--chair came up empty. So he designed one himself.

Tom Dixon calls the Y Chair a "super serious stackable" and "bomb proof" piece of office furniture. But neither description is what first comes to mind when surveying the chair. With its geometric hourglass form, thanks to a heart-shaped back, and its simple black and white color scheme, the Y Chair is more reminiscent of a Playboy Bunny than a conference room staple.

Amazon's Smartphone Could Sport A Totally Alien Interface

Add up the leaks and you get a touchscreen phone you don't actually touch.

Unidentified sources from the Taiwanese-based supply chain, Primax Electronics, are claiming that Amazon placed orders for compact camera modules (CCMs) for intended use in a soon-to-be-released smartphone. If the rumors are true, the new phone will be equipped with "floating touch technology" allowing the user to use the screen without ever actually touching it.
