Twitter To Suspend Accounts Posting Graphic Images Of James Foley's Execution

"We have been and are actively suspending accounts as we discover them related to this graphic imagery."

In a tweet sent out shortly after 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo said that accounts caught posting grisly images related to the execution of journalist James Foley would be suspended. This is the right thing to do.

Dolby Is Bringing Its Atmos Movie Sound Technology Home

The home-theater and mobile versions aren't as immersive as the theater system--but still sound pretty darn good.

Dolby has done a solid job of convincing Hollywood to embrace Atmos, its two-year-old system for creating sound effects which come at the audience from every which way. For instance, such blockbusters and would-be blockbusters as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Edge of Tomorrow, Guardians of the Galaxy, Godzilla, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Transformers: Age of Extinction have all been released in Atmos mixes.
