Even the most exciting, perfectly executed event has its headaches. Whether it's a small tech conference or an EDM concert, there's seemingly no way around the long lines, limited toilets, and need to carry around a bunch of cash (or else get hit with exorbitant ATM fees). But what if we could at least get rid of paper tickets and the long lines they create?

Uber Mistakenly Exposed The Personal Data Of Hundreds Of Drivers

Ride-hailing company Uber compromised the data of 674 of its drivers, disclosing social security numbers and photos of their licenses.

Uber, the world's most valuable startup, just made a major gaffe: The ride-hailing company accidentally released the personal information of hundreds of its drivers, allegedly leaking social security numbers, scans of drivers' licenses, taxi certification forms, and other private data. According to Motherboard, the leak was first reported by drivers on Tuesday, and was associated with the release of Uber's new Partner app for drivers.

No stranger to large funding rounds from big banks, Kabbage is announcing its fourth round of funding today with a $135 million group investment led by Reverence Capital Partners as part of a big push to expand internationally. By the end of 2016, Kabbage hopes to partner with banks and companies on five continents.

Facebook Encroaches On YouTube's Turf With New Video Hub

In its most recent ruse to sideline YouTube, Facebook is testing a dedicated video section.

As expected, Facebook is slowly but surely creating a video platform that can compete directly with YouTube. The social networking giant is testing a feed exclusively for video content, Facebook announced Tuesday. Select users will see the "Messenger" button in Facebook's iPhone app replaced by "Videos." On desktop, the video tab will be listed on the left side of the news feed, under "Favorites." For users who want to browse other content while watching a video, Facebook is also testing a floating screen that moves around as they multitask—yet another feature borrowed from YouTube.
