Uber Is Now 15% Cheaper In NYC
In response to lagging business during the winter months, the company is lowering fares for both UberX and UberXL.
In an effort to increase demand, Uber is slashing its prices by about 15% throughout New York City. First reported by the New York Post, the changes go into effect on Friday and will apply to both UberX and UberXL.

Apple is working on developing an iPhone can that be charged wirelessly over long distances, reports Bloomberg. The site says Apple is working with partners in Asia and the United States to perfect the long-range wireless technology and it's believed that Apple could include it in iPhones as early as next year.
