Editing client publishes his first fantasy novel

A recent Halden Howellediting client, Halden Howell, has published his first fantasy novel, The Sacred Writ.

Rohlin, a thief by trade, is blackmailed by three ethereal mystics into stealing the Sacred Writ, an ancient book that holds the power of ages within. As the Mystics plan succeeds, a Phoenix is unleashed on the land of Ambirlyn, bringing about the premature Armageddon of the world. While the world is torn apart, and thrust into war, a young man named Trigger searches for revenge on the one who destroyed his home. But this journey proves to be more detrimental to him and those he loves than he originally anticipated, especially when he discovers the influence of the mystics in his own life.

The Sacred Write is the first book in the planned Oath of Fire series and is available online in ebook.
