AJ Super AJ Super (she/her/they/them) is the author of the Seven Stars Saga, a trilogy published by Aethon Books and Blackstone Audio. Writing full time, they devour fantasy and science fiction in every medium, and even experiments with writing and reading other speculative fiction now and again. They earned two Bachelors’ degrees, and they have been an author since they were old enough to write (and illustrate) a stapled-together ABC book.

J & K’s 2023 Wrapped

2023 is drawing to a close, and what a year it was! We achieved and grew so much as authors. Here’s a look at some highlights from J & K’s 2023 wrapped. J’s Favorite Sci-Fi Reads

Science fiction is a criminally underappreciated genre among today’s readers. Few people realize that Apple TV+’s glittering Foundation saga is based on the eponymous book series by Isaac Asimov. Fewer still have even read those books. This is disheartening given how much Asimov and other sci-fi writers like him contributed to pop culture. All right, the soap box moment is over. I’m here to remind everyone that science fiction has been pushing boundaries and quite literally broadening horizons for decades in ways that other genres (*cough* fantasy *cough*) have only tentatively embraced.
