Nightmare Along the River Nile: Abducted by the LRA

The process of writing 'Nightmare Along the River Nile' was very difficult and heart wrenching for me. I was constantly thinking about the mothers of the children who were abducted and how these children would never regain their innocence. Yesterday when I heard about the capture of one of the top commanders of the LRA, again I started thinking about these mothers. My prayer for the mothers whose children haven't yet returned, is that one day they will be reunited with them so that the healing process can begin. For over 25 years, the LRA has abducted countless boys and girls from various central African countries and turned them into child soldiers or slaves. This is a story of one of them.
