My friend Chris and I have been doing this podcast called Chris and Kyle's Gay Straight Alliance for a little while now. We just hit our tenth episode, and it's maybe my favourite episode of a podcast I've ever done.
Sample snippet:
Tsuj: I ate all the cookies though.
Kyle: Yeah, I heard that.
Tsuj: I had to eat to eat something, because I had the hummus in the fridge but I have to take that to choir practice.
Kyle: Hummus woulda been way quieter.
Tsuj: I should have switched to a more silent food.
Kyle: This is why we're not on NPR.
Tsuj: I don't know what that is!
Amazon Is Letting Publishers Ruin The Kindle
Gizmodo writer Mat Honan on his frustrations over 19Q4's Kindle restriction of one device (instead of the typical "any device with a Kindle app"):
Amazon has worked really, really hard on this ability to let a book follow you everywhere. That was smart. It's one of Kindle's best features. It was what helped Kindle break out when previous e-book formats and readers had not. It's a promise by Amazon that this won't be a DRM nightmare that locks you into one device. Yes, there will be copy protection, but it's going to be reasonable and readable. Except when it's not.
To my knowledge, Sony or Kobo has never restricted a book to a single app. There are titles that only work with certain devices (some titles only work on colour or wi-fi enabled devices, for example) but that's a matter of compatibility, not DRM.
Copy protection only works in the interest of the copyright holder, and never in the interest of the customer.

I found this on Behance yesterday. It's a promotional video for a free font you can get here. It features pretentious letters, and this thing! You'll love it.
