Safe Haven
Closer, raging storm fades, to gentle rain.
Angels descended,guard my path,
Demons scream, From God's wrath.
Murky black water became clear,
Then I felt no fear.
Weakened by battle, I began to sink,
Mind was racing, so hard to think.
Managed to reach the celestial light,
Beautiful in color, magnificently bright.
Water is calm, no storm to be found,
Gazed upon the shore, angels all around.
Mighty angel did take my hand,
On the shore, I knelt in the sand.

Empty Tomb
It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Resurrection day. The sun was peeking above the horizon. Soft colors of red and yellow filled the sky.
As you walk near the tomb of Jesus, the morning sun warms your face. You soak up the cool warmth of the morning dew, as you walk you notice the busyness of the people going about their day. In it all, you wonder if they know that today is the day. The day Christ promised to return from the grave. They go about as if nothing had ever happened. Like ...

Mark 15:17-18 And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head.
And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
The king crowned with thorns,
Angry mob, hateful scorns.
Our burdens laid bear,
His flesh the nails did tear.
Splinters small, splinters large,
The gates of hell, He did charge.

On A Rugged Hill stood God's Only Son!
I stood there looking up at this man nailed to a tree. "What crime deserves this?" I thought to myself. As I wondered about this, the man looked down at me and I saw a single bloody tear come from one of his eyes and then stream down his face. A dose of true reality seemed to hit my heart, and then anger set in. As they mocked him with their words, my anger grew. Not long after… I dropped to my knees weeping bitterly. A warm and special thank you to my mom for all the help that she has given me over the many years. To all the moms across this land and on foreign soil Happy Mothers Day to all of you. You are special in the eyes of the Lord. He has given you the blessings of a child and the strength to raise them, the patience to handle their problems as well as yours. This is your day enjoy it.
