New Chapbook for Patreon Supporters Shipping in April!
Good news! The new chapbook for Patreon supporters on the $5 tier and higher will begin shipping in a few weeks (you can still join today and qualify!), and I’m pleased to report this one represents the next evolution of our Patreon chapbook program.
The envelopes that “house” the chapbook will now feature custom artwork printed in silver metallic ink. This is the same style of art as our designer would create for the foil stamping for a Limited Edition book:
The “Doing Dirty Work” chapbook wil...

Come hang out on Brian Keene’s new message board
Way back in the day, I spent a lot of time on horror and writing message boards: Shocklines, Masters of Terror, The Red-Light District, Brian Keene’s board, and the HWA board. Then social media came along and message boards basically died off.
I’ve never done much on social media, so I was really happy to hear recently that Brian Keene was launching a new (old fashioned) message board!
The main board is here:

A New Update On My Patreon!
When I said way back in January that the year was off to a terrific start for my writing and for my Patreon, I had no idea what was yet to come. We’re now hovering around 420 supporters, almost double what we had a year ago — and a number I never even dreamed possible when I launched my Patreon.
So, this seems like a good time to post a reminder about the FAQ for new supporters and those who might be curious about what I’m doing on Patreon.
I’ve also just finished a series of Q&As from a comment...

So, about those eBay auctions for the new Patreon chapbook…
Someone asked if I have any problems with my Patreon supporters selling the new chapbook on eBay for what feels like crazy amounts of money. , $325, etc
The answer is: absolutely no problems at all.
When you receive your rewards for your Patreon support, you can do whatever you please with them. Read ’em, gift ’em, sell ’em, use them as a coaster, etc. They belong to you.
So, to anyone who was concerned there might be hard feelings because you sold something you received via your Patreon pl...

The next Patreon chapbook is… (Stephen King fans take note!)
Now that I have a delivery date from the printer, I’m pleased to let you know that the next exclusive chapbook for Patreon supporters is…
“What’s In a Name?” by Bev Vincent, an intriguing essay about the Stephen King titles that might have been. To make this chapbook really special, François Vaillancourt contributed the cover artwork and more than a dozen full-color interiors depicting what these Stephen King books might have looked like if he had used their original titles.
Here’s just one exa...

So, this seems like a good time to post a reminder about the FAQ for new supporters and those who might be curious about what I’m doing on Patreon.
Also, a small teaser: I think the new Su...
