The Virals are put to the ultimate test when they find a geocache containing an ornate puzzle box. Shelton decodes the cipher inside, only to find more tantalizing clues left by “The Gamemaster.” A second, greater geocache is within reach–if the Virals are up to the challenge. But the hunt takes a dark turn when Tory locates the other box–a fake bomb, along with a sinister proposal from The Gamemaster. The baddie plants elaborate clues for his victims to find—and disarm—before leading them into ever more complex danger. There is never a dull moment for fans of the series, which promises to be long running.

I’ll be appearing at the country’s largest Young Adult literary festival. Get hype! 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 9th, 2013, in Charleston, SC. I’ll be signing books at 12:00 PM at Blue Bicycle Books on King Street, then speaking at 1:00 PM on the “Sci-Fi/Fantasy Masked Ball” panel with Leigh Bardugo, Lev Grossman, Mike Johnston, Marie Lu, Myra McEntire, and David McInnis Gill (moderated by Victoria Schwab). Then I’m moderating the “Grand Ole YA’Opry” panel of Southern YA authors at 3:00 PM — I’ll be torturing Michelle Hodkin, David McInnis Gill, CJ Lyons, Myra McEntire, Stephanie Perkins, Carrie Ryan, Victoria Schwab, and JE Thompson. Finally, I’ll act the fool in the world famous YA Smackdown! at 6:00PM. Come on out, y’all.
